‘Gcinani Umoya Wobunye’

UMPHOSTOLI uPawulu wanxusa amaKristu ase-Efesu ukuba aqhubeke ‘ebekezelelana ngothando, ezama ngenkuthalo ukugcina ubunye bomoya esibophweni esihlanganisayo sokuthula.’—Efe. 4:​2, 3.

“Ubunye,” esibujabulelayo ‘obomoya.’ Lokho kusho ukuthi bubangelwa umoya kaNkulunkulu. Kodwa njengoba uPawulu achaza, kudingeka sibulondoloze. Ubani okudingeka enze kanjalo? Ngempela, umKristu ngamunye kumele adlale indima yakhe ukuze ‘agcine ubunye bomoya.’

Ngokwesibonelo, ake sithi othile ukuphe imoto entsha. Kuwumsebenzi kabani ukuyigcina isesimweni esihle? Impendulo isobala. Ngeke usole umuntu okuphe yona uma imoto ifa ngenxa yokuthi awuzange uyinakekele.

Ngendlela efanayo, nakuba ubunye bethu bobuKristu buyisipho esivela kuNkulunkulu, ngamunye wethu unesibopho sokubulondoloza lobo bunye. Uma singenabo ubuhlobo obunokuthula nomfowethu noma nodadewethu, kudingeka sizibuze, ‘Ingabe ngenza konke engingakwenza ukuze ngigcine ubunye bomoya ngokuxazulula leyo nkinga ekhona phakathi kwethu?’

“ZAMA NGENKUTHALO” UKUGCINA UBUNYE

Njengoba uPawulu abhala, kungase kudingeke sisebenze kanzima ukuze sigcine ukuthula nabafowethu nodadewethu, ikakhulukazi uma omunye wabo esiphathe kabi. Ingabe ukugcina ubunye kusho ukuthi ngaso sonke isikhathi kumele siye kumuntu sikhulume naye ngenkinga ekhona phakathi kwethu? Akunjalo. Zibuze, ‘Ingabe ukukhuluma ngalokho okwenzekile kuzokwenza kube nobunye noma kuzokwenza isimo sibe sibi nakakhulu?’ Ngezinye izikhathi into ewukuhlakanipha ukumane uyishalazelele leyo nto noma umthethelele lowo muntu.—IzAga 19:11; Marku 11:25.

Esikubona ezithombeni: Umzalwane ukhetha ukukushalazelela okwenzekile. 1. Omunye umzalwane uyamthethisa. 2. Ucabanga ngalokho okusanda kwenziwa yilo omunye umzalwane. 3. Ufunda iBhayibheli bese ezindla ngalokho akufundayo.

Zibuze, ‘Ingabe ukukhuluma ngalokho okwenzekile kuzokwenza kube nobunye noma kuzokwenza isimo sibe sibi nakakhulu?’

Njengoba umphostoli uPawulu abhala, masiqhubeke ‘sibekezelelana ngothando.’ (Efe. 4:2) Enye incwadi ithi le nkulumo ingahunyushwa ngokuthi “bamukele njengoba benjalo.” Lokho kusho ukuthi siyakwamukela ukuthi esikholwa nabo banesono njengathi. Ngempela, sizama ukugqoka “ubuntu obusha.” (Efe. 4:​23, 24) Kodwa akekho phakathi kwethu ongakwenza ngokuphelele lokho. (Roma 3:23) Uma silamukela lelo qiniso, kuyoba lula ngathi ukuba sibekezelelane, sithethelelane futhi ngaleyo ndlela ‘sigcine ubunye bomoya.’

Uma sikudlulisa okwenzekile—ngisho noma lokho sikwenza ezinhliziyweni zethu kuphela—siyoqhubeka sijabulela ‘isibopho esihlanganisayo sokuthula.’ Igama lesiGreki elihunyushwe ngokuthi ‘isibopho esihlanganisayo’ elikweyabase-Efesu 4:3 lihunyushwe ngokuthi ‘imisipha’ kweyabaseKolose 2:19. Imisipha yinyama eqinile ehlanganisa amathambo. Ngendlela efanayo, ukuthula kanye nothando esinalo ngabafowethu kusisiza ukuba sihlale sisondelene nabo naphezu kwanoma yikuphi ukungaboni ngasolinye esiba nakho nabo.

Ngakho lapho okholwa naye ekuphatha kabi noma ekucasula, zama ukumbheka ngozwela kunokuba umgxeke. (Kol. 3:12) Njengoba bonke abantu benesono, cishe nawe wake wamphatha kabi omunye umuntu ngesinye isikhathi. Ukukhumbula lokho kuyokusiza ukuba udlale indima yakho ‘ekugcineni ubunye bomoya.’
