“Yibani Abakulungele”

1 Esiprofethweni sakhe esiphawulekayo sesiphelo salesi simiso sezinto, uJesu waxwayisa ngokugxila kakhulu ezintweni zokuphila kwansuku zonke. (Math. 24:36-39; Luka 21:34, 35) Njengoba usizi olukhulu lungaqala noma nini, kubaluleke kakhulu ukuba silalele iseluleko sikaJesu: “Yibani abakulungele, ngoba iNdodana yomuntu iza ngehora eningalicabangi.” (Math. 24:44) Yini engasisiza kulesi sici?

2 Ukunqoba Ukukhathazeka Neziphazamiso: Olunye lwezingibe ezingokomoya okumelwe siluqaphe ‘izinkathazo zokuphila.’ (Luka 21:34) Kwamanye amazwe, ubumpofu, ukuntuleka kwemisebenzi nezindleko eziphakeme zokuphila kwenza kube nzima ukuthola izidingo zokuphila. Kwamanye amazwe ukufuna izinto ezibonakalayo kuyinto evamile. Uma sesiqala ukucabanga kakhulu ngezinto ezibonakalayo, sisengozini yokuba izingqondo zethu zisuke ezintweni ezingokoqobo zoMbuso. (Math. 6:19-24, 31-33) Imihlangano yobuKristu isisiza ukuba sihlale sigxilise izingqondo zethu kulezi zinto ezingokoqobo. Ingabe ukwenza umgomo wakho ukuba khona kuyo yonke imihlangano?—Heb. 10:24, 25.

3 Namuhla izwe ligcwele iziphazamiso ezingasiphuca kalula isikhathi esiyigugu. Ukusebenzisa i-computer kungaba ugibe uma sichitha isikhathi esiningi kakhulu sibhekabheka izingosi ze-Internet, sifunda futhi sithumela ama-E-mail, noma sidlala imidlalo ye-computer. Kungalahleka amahora amaningi sibuka ithelevishini, amabhayisikobho, sizilibazisa ngezemidlalo, ngezinto esizithandayo, futhi sifunda izincwadi zezwe, sibe sincane isikhathi noma amandla okwenza izinto ezingokomoya. Nakuba ukuzijabulisa nokuphumula kungasiqabula okwesikhashana, isifundo seBhayibheli somuntu siqu nesomkhaya sinezinzuzo zaphakade. (1 Thim. 4:7, 8) Ingabe uyasithengisisa isikhathi sokuzindla ngeZwi likaNkulunkulu usuku ngalunye?—Efe. 5:15-17.

4 Asive sibonga ngokuthi inhlangano kaJehova ihlele isimiso semfundo engokomoya sokusisiza ukuba ‘siphumelele ekuphunyukeni kuzo zonke lezi zinto ezimiselwe ukwenzeka, nasekumeni phambi kweNdodana yomuntu.’ (Luka 21:36) Sengathi singawasebenzisa ngokugcwele la malungiselelo ‘sibe abakulungele’ ukuze ukholo lwethu lube ‘isizathu sendumiso nenkazimulo nodumo ekwambulweni kukaJesu Kristu.’—1 Pet. 1:7.
