“Ngimelwe Ukwenzani Ukuba Ngisindiswe Na?”
“NGIMELWE ukwenzani ukuba ngisindiswe na?” Lombuzo wabuzwa emuva ngonyaka ka-50 C.E. ngumgcini-ziboshwa eFilipi, eMakedoniya. Kwakusanda kuba khona ukuzamazama komhlaba okukhulu, futhi iminyango yetilongo aphethe kulo yayivulekile. Ecabanga ukuthi iziboshwa zazibalekile, umgcini-ziboshwa wayesezozibulala. Kodwa omunye weziboshwa, umphostoli uPawulu, wamemeza: “Ungazilimazi, ngokuba sikhona sonke.”—IzEnzo 16:25-30.
UPawulu nayeboshwe naye, uSila, babeze eFilipi bezoshumayela isigijimi sensindiso, futhi babesetilongweni ngenxa yokumangalelwa ngamacala amanga. Ebonga ngokuthi iziboshwa zazingabalekanga, umgcini-ziboshwa wafuna ukuzwa isigijimi sikaPawulu noSila. Kwakumelwe enzeni ukuze ajabulele insindiso eshunyayelwa yilezithunywa zevangeli ezimbili ezingamaKristu?
Abantu namuhla basayidinga insindiso eyayishunyayelwa uPawulu noSila. Nokho, ngokudabukisayo abaningi babheka indaba yokusindiswa ngokuyisola okukhulu. Badunyazwa ukubukisa nobugovu bedlanzana lalabobefundisi abathi babafundisa ukuthi bangasindiswa kanjani. Abanye bahlehlela emuva ngenxa yokwesaba ukuvukwa umoya okungenangqondo okwenziwa izinkolo eziningi zobuvangeli ezigcizelela umqondo wokusindiswa. Umcosheli wezindaba waseNgilandi uPhilip Howard wathi abavangeli abanjalo bokuzisholo “bahlasela imizwelo nezandla ezisayina amasheke kunokuba bahlasele izingqondo zezilaleli zabo.”—Qhathanisa neyesi-2 Petru 2:2.

Labalobi bayanezela: “Singachaza lenqubo njengeyokuvala ingqondo, yokungacabangi.”
Lokhu kwakungenjalo lapho amaKristu ekhulu lokuqala leminyaka esindiswa. Umgcini-ziboshwa waseFilipi akazange ‘avale ingqondo yakhe’ lapho umphostoli uPawulu ephendula umbuzo wakhe othi, “Ngimelwe ukwenzani ukuba ngisindiswe na?” Futhi uPawulu noSila abazange baqalise ‘ukuhlasela imizwelo yakhe’ futhi bacele umnikelo omkhulu wemali. Kunalokho, ‘bamshumayeza izwi likaNkulunkulu.’ Bebonisana nalendoda, bayisiza ukuba iwaqonde ngokucacile amalungiselelo kaNkulunkulu ensindiso.—IzEnzo 16:32.
“Kholwa YiNkosi UJesu”
Lezozithunywa zevangeli ezingamaKristu zavula ingqondo yomgcini-ziboshwa ukuba amukele amaqiniso ayisisekelo ngokusindiswa. Kwakuyiqiniso elifanayo elachazwa umphostoli uPetru lapho ibandla lamaKristu limiswa okokuqala. UPetru wakhomba endimeni eyinhloko kaJesu Kristu endabeni yokusindiswa, embiza ngokuthi “INkosi yokuphila.” Lowomphostoli wathi futhi: “Ayikho insindiso ngomunye, ngokuba alikho futhi elinye igama phansi kwezulu elinikiwe ebantwini, esimelwe ukusindiswa ngalo.” (IzEnzo 3:15; 4:12) UPawulu noSila baqondisa umgcini-ziboshwa waseFilipi kuleNkosi ukuze asindiswe lapho bethi: “Kholwa yiNkosi uJesu, yikhona uzakusindiswa.”—IzEnzo 16:31.
Nokho, kusho ukuthini ukukholwa yiNkosi uJesu? Kungani kungekho elinye igama ngaphandle kwelikaJesu esingasindiswa ngalo? Ingabe ekugcineni wonke umuntu uyokuzuza ukusindiswa? Ingabe abaphostoli babekholelwa emqondweni wokuthi “uma umuntu eke wasindiswa, uhlala esindisiwe?” Lena imibuzo ebalulekile ngoba, naphezu kweqiniso lokuthi amazwi nezenzo zabefundisi abaningi banamuhla kuye kwathambekela ekulilulazeni leligama, sisakudinga ukusindiswa. Sonke sidinga impendulo eyanelisayo, enengqondo embuzweni othi: “Ngimelwe ukwenzani ukuba ngisindiswe na?”
