◻ Ingabe uJesu unguMlamuleli wamaKristu agcotshwe ngomoya kuphela noma ngowesintu sonke, njengoba eyoku-1 Thimothewu 2:5, 6 ikhuluma ngaye ngokuthi ‘ungumlamuleli . . . owazinikela abe-yinhlawulo yabo bonke’?

IBhayibheli liqukethe kokubili izimfundiso eziyisisekelo namaqiniso ajulile, awukudla okuqinile kokutadisha. Okunye ukutadisha okunjalo kuhilela indima kaJesu Kristu njengoMlamuleli. Umphostoli uPawulu wabhala: “Munye uNkulunkulu, munye nomlamuleli phakathi kukaNkulunkulu nabantu, umuntu uKristu Jesu, owazinikela abe-yinhlawulo yabo bonke, kube-ngubufakazi besikhathi esiyiso.”—1 Thimothewu 2:5, 6.

Ukuze sikuqonde lokho uPawulu akushoyo, kumelwe okokuqala siqonde ukuthi iBhayibheli libeka izindawo ezimbili okuya kuzo abantu abathembekile: (1) ukuphila okuphelele epharadesi lasemhlabeni elibuyiselwe (2) nokuphila ezulwini ‘ngomhlambi omncane’ kaKristu, oyizi-144 000. (Luka 12:32; IsAmbulo 5:10; 14:1-3) ELobukholwa lifundisa ukuthi bonke abantu abalungile baya ezulwini, umbono ongekho ngokomBhalo oye wasonta umbono ovamile, kangangokuthi uJesu ucatshangelwa ngokuthi ungumxhumanisi wabo bonke abantu abanjalo. Igama lesiGreki elithi me·siʹtes, elisetshenziselwa elithi “umlamuleli,” lisho ‘ozithola ephakathi kwezingxenye ezimbili.’ ‘Kwakuyigama lobuciko lolimi lwasemthethweni lwesiGreki elalisho izinto eziningi.’ UProfesa Albrecht Oepke (Theological Dictionary of the New Testament) uthi elithi me·siʹtes ‘lalingelinye lamagama obuciko ahlukahlukene kakhulu emagameni asetshenziswa enkulumweni yomthetho wesiGreki.’

Kodwa kungani iBhayibheli lisebenzisa igama lasemthethweni endimeni kaJesu yokuba umlamuleli? Njengesizinda, cabangela lokho uPawulu akubhala ngoMthetho kaNkulunkulu owawunikezwe uIsrayeli owayebuthene phambi kweNtaba iSinayi: “Umisiwe ngezingelosi, ngesandla somlamuleli.” (Galathiya 3:19, 20) Lowomlamuleli kwakunguMose. Wayengumlamuleli phakathi kukaJehova nesizwe sakwaIsrayeli esingokwenyama. Ewumlamuleli wani? Wokusungula isivumelwano, noma isivumelwano esingokomthetho, phakathi kukaNkulunkulu nalesosizwe.a

Ingabe lokhu kusho ukuthi kukhona umqondo othile ongokomthetho ohilelekile endimeni kaJesu njengoMlamuleli? Yebo. Phawula ukukhulumela kukaPawulu kumaHeberu 8:6. Ngemva kokukhuluma ngetabernakele nangezinye izifanekiselo ngaphansi kwesivumelwano soMthetho, wabhala: “[UJesu] unikiwe inkonzo enhle kakhulu, njengalokhu engumlamuleli wesivumelwano esihle kakhulu, esimisiwe ngokwezithembiso ezinhle kakhulu.” “Isivumelwano esihle kakhulu” kwakuyisivumelwano esisha, esathatha indawo yesivumelwano uMose ayewumlamuleli kuso. (Heberu 8:7-13) Isivumelwano esisha “samiswa [ngokomthetho, NW].” Sabeka isisekelo sokuba abanye babalandeli bakaKristu, kusukela kubaphostoli, bakwazi ‘ukungena endaweni engcwele,’ ezulwini uqobo.—Heberu 9:24; 10:16-19.

Kunezinye futhi izimpawu zokuba ngokomthetho kwendima kaJesu njengoMlamuleli ‘wesivumelwano esisha.’ Ekhuluma ngesithembiso sikaNkulunkulu kumaHubo 110:4, uPawulu wabhala: “Ngokungakho-ke uJesu waba-yisiboniso [enʹgy·os] sesivumelwano esingcono.” (Heberu 7:22) Lena ukuphela kwendawo iBhayibheli elisebenzisa kuyo igama elithi enʹgy·os. INew International Dictionary of New Testament Theology ithi: “Iengyos yaqinisekisa ukuthi isibopho esingokomthetho sasiyofezwa.” Ngakho uJesu njengoMlamuleli wesivumelwano esisha ukhonza njengophawu olungokomthetho lokuthi “ithemba elingcono” liyofezeka.—Heberu 7:19.

Kwenye indawo uPawulu usebenzisa elinye futhi igama elinomqondo ongokomthetho, elithi ar·ra·bonʹ, elihunyushwe ngokuthi “isibambiso.” Sona lesichazamazwi sithi: “Igama lesiGreki elithi arrabōn . . . yigama elingokomthetho elivela olimini lokuthengisa nokuhweba.” Phawula indlela uPawulu alisebenzisa ngayo leligama elingokomthetho: “Nowasigcobayo, nguNkulunkulu, owasibeka nophawu nowasipha isibambiso esinguMoya ezinhliziyweni zethu.” (2 Korinte 1:21, 22) Zombili izindawo lapho livela khona elithi ar·ra·bonʹ zikhuluma ngokugcotshwa kwamaKristu ngomoya nguNkulunkulu, okuwalethela ‘umvuzo noma ifa laphakade ezulwini’ njengamadodana kaNkulunkulu omoya.—2 Korinte 5:1, 5; Efesu 1:13, 14; bheka iKingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures.

Khona-ke, ngokucacile isivumelwano esisha asilona ilungiselelo elingenamingcele elivulekele sonke isintu. Siyilungiselelo elingokomthetho elihlelwe ngokucophelela elihilela uNkulunkulu namaKristu agcotshiwe.

Lokhu kufanele kusisize ukuba siqonde eyoku-1 Thimothewu 2:5, 6. Lapha ukubhekisela ‘kumlamuleli’ kwenziwa ngemva kokuvela kwaleligama ezinye izikhathi ezinhlanu ezincwadini ezazibhalwe ngaphambili. Yiqiniso, awukho kulelocala lasenkantolo, ngakho ngalowomqondo akasabenzi njengommeli wakho omkhulu. Nokho angase abe umngane wakho oseduze okunikeza usizo oluyinzuzo ngezinye izindlela.

Ngezinye izikhathi umsebenzi wommeli omkhulu uba nemiphumela esiza nabanye abaningi. Kunjalo nangemisebenzi kaJesu engokomthetho njengoMlamuleli wesivumelwano esisha. Ikhiqiza lokho okungakhiqizwanga isivumelwano somthetho, ‘umbuso wabapristi’ wasezulwini. (Eksodusi 19:6; 1 Petru 2:9) Ngemva kwalokho amaKristu agcotshiwe eMbusweni ayosebenza noJesu esezulwini ukuze alethe isibusiso ‘kuzo zonke izizwe zomhlaba.’—Genesise 22:18.

Abantu bazo zonke izizwe abanethemba lokuphila phakade emhlabeni bayazuza ngisho namanje ezinkonzweni zikaJesu. Nakuba engesiye uMlamuleli wabo ongokomthetho, ngoba abekho esivumelwaneni esisha, uyindlela yabo yokusondela kuJehova. UKristu wathi: “Mina ngiyindlela, neqiniso, nokuphila; akakho oza kuBaba ngaphandle kwami.” (Johane 14:6) Bonke abayozuza ukuphila emhlabeni kumelwe bayise imithandazo yabo kuJehova ngoJesu. (Johane 14:13, 23, 24) UJesu futhi ukhonza njengomPristi Omkhulu onomusa okwaziyo ukusebenzisa izinzuzo zomhlatshelo wakhe ngenxa yabo, ebavumela ukuba bathole ukuthethelelwa nokusindiswa ekugcineni.—IzEnzo 4:12; Heberu 4:15.

Ngakho-ke, eyoku-1 Thimothewu 2:5, 6 ayisebenzisi igama elithi “umlamuleli” ngomqondo obanzi ovamile ezilimini eziningi. Ayisho ukuthi uJesu ungumlamuleli phakathi kukaNkulunkulu naso sonke isintu. Kunalokho, ibhekisela kuKristu njengoMlamuleli ongokomthetho (noma, “ummeli omkhulu”) wesivumelwano esisha, lena kuyindlela elinganiselwe iBhayibheli elisebenzisa ngayo leligama. UJesu futhi uyisihlengo sabo bonke abakulesosivumelwano, kokubili abangamaJuda nabeZizwe, abayokwamukela ukuphila okungenakufa ezulwini. Umphostoli uJohane wabhekisela kulaba kweyoku-1 Johane 2:2. Kodwa wabonisa ukuthi nabanye futhi bayokwamukela izinzuzo zomhlatshelo kaKristu: “Yena uyinhlawulo ngezono zethu, kungengezethu zodwa kodwa nangezezwe lonke.”

Labo ‘abangabezwe lonke’ yibo bonke abayozuza ukuphila okuphakade epharadesi lasemhlabeni elibuyiselwe. Izigidi zezinceku zikaNkulunkulu ezamukelwe ezinjalo zinalelothemba lasemhlabeni manje. Zibheka uJesu njengomPristi wazo oMkhulu neNkosi ezingaya ngaye kuJehova nsuku zonke. Zithembela esihlengweni sikaJesu, ezingazuza kuso, njengoba kuyoba njalo emadodeni anjengoAbrahama, uDavide, noJohane uMbhapathizi lapho laba bevuswa. (Mathewu 20:28) Kanjalo, umhlatshelo kaJesu uyoholela sonke isintu esilalelayo ekuphileni okuphakade.
