Kungani Kufanele Wesabe UNkulunkulu, Hhayi Abantu?

“UKWESABA abantu kubeka ugibe, kepha owethemba uJehova uyalondeka.” (IzAga 29:25) Ngalamazwi isaga sasendulo sisixwayisa ngohlobo lokwesaba oluwushevu wengqondo ngempela—ukwesaba umuntu. Kufaniswa nogibe. Kungani? Ngenxa yokuthi isilwane esincane, njengonogwaja, asikwazi ukuzisiza lapho sibanjwe ogibeni. Sifuna ukubaleka, kodwa ugibe lusibamba ngqí. Eqinisweni, isisulu siyakhubazeka.

Uma sibanjwe ukwesaba umuntu, sifana nsé nalowonogwaja. Singase sikwazi okufanele sikwenze. Singase ngisho sifune nokukwenza. Kodwa ukwesaba kusenze izigqila. Sikhubazekile futhi asikwazi ukwenza lutho.

Ugibe Lokwesaba Umuntu

Cabanga ngezibonelo ezithile zalabo ababebanjwe ugibe lokwesaba ezikhathini zeBhayibheli. Ezinsukwini zikaJoshuwa, amadoda ayi-12 athunywa ukuba ayohlola izwe laseKhanani ngaphambi kokuhlasela kwamaIsrayeli okuhleliwe. Izinhloli zabuya futhi zabika ukuthi izwe lalivundile futhi licebile, njengoba nje uNkulunkulu ayeshilo. Kodwa izinhloli eziyishumi zethuswa amandla alezozakhamuzi. Ngakho, zibanjwe ukwesaba umuntu, zanikeza amaIsrayeli umbiko oyihaba ngalamandla futhi zabangela ukuba isizwe sonke sibanjwe ukwesaba. AmaIsrayeli enqaba ukulalela umyalo kaNkulunkulu wokungena eKhanani futhi athathe izwe. Ngenxa yalokho, phakathi neminyaka engama-40 eyalandela, wonke amadoda amadala angalesosikhathi, ngaphandle kwambalwa, afela ehlane.—Numeri 13:21–14:38.

UJona wayengesinye isisulu sokwesaba umuntu. Lapho ayabelwe ukuba ayoshumayela emzini omkhulu waseNineve, “wasuka ebusweni bukaJehova ukuba abalekele eTharishishi.” (Jona 1:3) Kungani? Abantu baseNineve babenedumela lokuba abantu abanonya nabanobudlova, futhi uJona wayekwazi kahle lokho. Ukwesaba umuntu kwambangela ukuba abalekele kwenye indawo ekude naseNineve. Yiqiniso, kamuva wasamukela isabelo sakhe kodwa wasemukela ngemva kokuthola isiyalo esingavamile esivela kuJehova.—Jona 1:4, 17.

Ngisho namakhosi angase esabe abantu. Ngesinye isikhathi, iNkosi uSawule yenqaba ngokuqondile ukulalela amazwi okuyala avela kuNkulunkulu. Yabeka siphi isaba? “Ngeqile isiyalezo sikaJehova namazwi akho, lokhu ngesaba abantu, ngalalela izwi labo.” (1 Samuweli 15:24) Emakhulwini athile eminyaka kamuva, lapho iJerusalema lihlaselwa abaseBabiloni, uJeremiya, umprofethi othembekile, weluleka iNkosi uSedekiya ukuba izinikele futhi ngaleyondlela isindise iJerusalema ekuchithekeni kwegazi okukhulu. Kodwa uSedekiya wenqaba. Kungani? Wavuma kuJeremiya: “Ngiyesaba abaJuda abahlubukele kumaKaledi, funa nginikelwe esandleni sabo, bangiklolodele.”—Jeremiya 38:19.

Ekugcineni, ngisho nomphostoli wayengesaba. Ngosuku uJesu ayezokufa ngalo, waxwayisa abalandeli bakhe ngokuthi bonke babeyomphika. Nokho, uPetru washo ngesibindi: “Nkosi, ngilungele ukuya nawe nasetilongweni nasekufeni.” (Luka 22:33; Mathewu 26:31, 33) Yeka ukuthi lawomazwi abonakala eyiphutha kanjani! Amahora ambalwa nje kamuva, uPetru ngokwesaba wakuphika ukuthi wayenoJesu noma ngisho nokuthi wayemazi. Wanqotshwa ukwesaba umuntu! Yebo, ukwesaba umuntu kuwushevu wengqondo ngempela.

Ubani Okufanele Simesabe?

Singakunqoba kanjani ukwesaba umuntu? Ngokuthi esikhundleni sakho sifake ukwesaba okunempilo kakhulu. Loluhlobo lokwesaba lwakhuthazwa umphostoli ofanayo, uPetru, lapho ethi: “Mesabeni uNkulunkulu.” (1 Petru 2:17) Ingelosi eyabonwa uJohane kusAmbulo yathi esintwini: “Mesabeni uNkulunkulu, nimnike inkazimulo.” (IsAmbulo 14:7) Inkosi ehlakaniphile uSolomoni nayo yakhuthaza ukwesaba okunjalo lapho ithi: “Nakhu ukuphela kwendaba, lapho sekuzwakele konke: Mesabe uNkulunkulu, ugcine imiyalo yakhe, ngokuba lokho kungokwabantu bonke.” (UmShumayeli 12:13) Yebo, ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kuyisibopho.

Ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kuletha izinzuzo. Umhubi wasendulo wahuba: “Impela insindiso [kaJehova] iseduze nabamesabayo.” (IHubo 85:9) Isaga seBhayibheli naso siyagcizelela: “Ukumesaba uJehova kuyandisa izinsuku.” (IzAga 10:27) Yebo, ukwesaba uJehova kuyinto enempilo nezuzisayo. ‘Kodwa ngokuqinisekile,’ ungase usho, ‘uJehova unguNkulunkulu onothando. Kungani kufanele sesabe uNkulunkulu wothando?’

Kungani Kufanele Sesabe UNkulunkulu Wothando?

Ngenxa yokuthi ukwesaba uNkulunkulu akukhona ukwesaba okwehlisayo nokukhubazayo okubamba abantu ezimweni ezithile. Wuhlobo lokwesaba ingane engase ibe nakho ngoyise, ngisho nakuba imthanda uyise futhi yazi ukuthi uyise uyayithanda.

Ngempela ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kuyinhlonipho ejulile ngoMdali esekelwe ekuqapheleni ukuthi ungumuntu onezimfanelo eziphelele zokulunga, ukwahlulela ngokulunga, ukuhlakanipha, nothando. Kuhlanganisa ukwesaba okunempilo ukumdumaza uNkulunkulu ngenxa yokuthi unguMahluleli oPhakeme onamandla okuvuza nokujezisa. Umphostoli uPawulu wabhala: “Kuyesabeka ukuwela ezandleni zikaNkulunkulu ophilayo.” (Heberu 10:31) Uthando lukaNkulunkulu aluyona into okumelwe ithathwe kalula, nesahlulelo sakhe asiyona into okumelwe inganakwa. Yingakho iBhayibheli lisikhumbuza: “Ukuqala kokuhlakanipha kungukumesaba uJehova.”—IzAga 9:10.

Nokho, kufanele sikhumbule ukuthi nakuba uJehova enamandla okujezisa labo abangamlaleli—futhi eye wakwenza lokho izikhathi eziningi—akalomele nakancane igazi futhi akanalo neze unya. Ngempela unguNkulunkulu wothando, ngisho nakuba, njengomzali onothando, ngezinye izikhathi ethukuthela ngokulunga. (1 Johane 4:8) Yingakho ukumesaba kunempilo. Kusiholela ekulaleleni imithetho yakhe, eklanyelwe inzuzo yethu. Ukulalela imithetho kaNkulunkulu kuletha injabulo, kuyilapho ukungayilaleli ngaso sonke isikhathi kuletha imiphumela emibi. (Galathiya 6:7, 8) Umhubi waphefumlelwa ukuba athi: “Mesabeni uJehova nina-bangcwele bakhe, ngokuba abasweli-lutho abamesabayo.”—IHubo 34:9.

Ngubani Omesabayo?

Ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kusisiza kanjani ukuba sinqobe ukwesaba umuntu? Phela, abantu bangase basihleke usulu noma basishushise nokusishushisa ngenxa yokwenza okulungileyo, okuletha ukucindezela kithi. Kodwa ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kwenhlonipho kuyosinika amandla okuba sinamathele enkambweni elungile, njengoba singafuni ukumdumaza. Ngaphezu kwalokho, uthando lukaNkulunkulu luyosishukumisela ukuba senze lokho okujabulisa inhliziyo yakhe. Okunye, siyakhumbula ukuthi uNkulunkulu usivuza ngokucebile ngokwenza okulungile, okwenza ukuba simthande kakhulu futhi kusenze sifune ukwenza intando yakhe. Ngakho-ke, umbono olinganiselwe ngoNkulunkulu uyasisiza ukuba sinqobe noma yikuphi ukwesaba abantu esingase sibe nakho.

Ngokwesibonelo, abaningi bacindezelwa ukuba benze okungalungile ngenxa yokwesaba lokho ontanga yabo abakucabangayo. Intsha esikoleni ingase ibheme, isebenzise ulimi olungcolile, iqhoshe ngokuhlangenwe nakho kobulili (kwangempela noma okucatshangelwayo), futhi ize ngisho ihlole utshwala noma izidakamizwa. Kungani? Ayikwenzi lokho njalo ngoba ifuna, kodwa ngoba yesaba lokho ontanga yabo abayokusho uma yenza ngokuhlukile. Kosemusha, ukuhlekwa usulu nokugconwa kungase kube nzima ukukubekezelela njengokushushiswa okungokomzimba.

Umuntu omdala naye angase azizwe ecindezelwe ukuba enze okungalungile. Mhlawumbe umqashi emsebenzini angatshela umqashwa ukuba andise isikweleti sekhasimende ngokweqile noma ukuba agcwalise ifomu lentela lenkampane ngokungathembeki ukuze banciphise amandla entela. UmKristu angase abe nomuzwa wokuthi uma engalaleli, uyolahlekelwa umsebenzi wakhe. Ngakho, ukwesaba umuntu kungamcindezela ukuba enze okungalungile.

Kuzo zombili lezizimo, ukwesaba uNkulunkulu okunempilo nenhlonipho ngemiyalo yakhe kuyovimbela umKristu ekukhutshazweni ukwesaba umuntu. Futhi uthando ngoNkulunkulu luyomvimbela ekuhlanganyeleni ezenzweni ezenqatshelwe uNkulunkulu. (IzAga 8:13) Ngaphezu kwalokho, ukholo lwakhe kuNkulunkulu luyomqinisekisa ukuthi uma enza ngokuvumelana nonembeza wakhe oqeqeshwe ngeBhayibheli, uNkulunkulu uyomsekela kungakhathaliseki ukuthi uyini umphumela. Umphostoli uPawulu wabonisa ukholo lwakhe ngalamazwi: “Nginamandla ukwenza konke ngaye ongiqinisayo.”—Filipi 4:13.

IBhayibheli linikeza izibonelo eziningi zamadoda nabesifazane ababethembekile kuJehova ngisho nangaphansi kokuvivinywa okunzima kakhulu. “Balingwa ngokujivazwa, nokushaywa, . . . nokuboshwa nokufakwa etilongweni; bakhandwa ngamatshe, banqunywa ngesaha, balingwa, babulawa ngenkemba.” (Heberu 11:36, 37) Kodwa abazange bakuvumele ukwesaba umuntu ukuba kulawule izingqondo zabo. Kunalokho, baphishekela inkambo efanayo yokuhlakanipha kamuva uJesu ayinikeza abafundi bakhe: “Ningabesabi ababulala umzimba bengenamandla okubulala umphefumulo, kepha kakhulu mesabeni [uNkulunkulu] onamandla okubhubhisa nomphefumulo nomzimba [eGehena].”—Mathewu 10:28, qhathanisa neNW.

Ukulandela leseluleko sikaJesu sokwesaba uNkulunkulu kunomuntu kwenza futhi ukuba amaKristu akuqala abekezelele lonke uhlobo lobunzima, ukuvivinywa, nokushushiswa “ngenxa yevangeli.” (Filemoni 13) Umphostoli uPawulu uyisibonelo esiphawulekayo salokhu. Encwadini yakhe yesibili eya kwabaseKorinte, ubonisa indlela ukwesaba uNkulunkulu okwamqinisa ngayo ukuba abekezelele ukuboshwa, ukushaywa, ukukhandwa ngamatshe, ukufelwa umkhumbi, izingozi ezihlukahlukene zasemgwaqweni, ukuqwasha, ukulamba, ukoma, amakhaza, nokuhamba-ze.—2 Korinte 11:23-27.

Ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kwawaqinisa futhi lawomaKristu akuqala ukuze abhekane nokushushiswa okunzima ngaphansi koMbuso wamaRoma, lapho abanye babephonswa ngisho nasezilwaneni zasendle eshashalazini. ENkathini Ephakathi, amakholwa anesibindi abulawa ngokushiswa obala, ngoba ayengenakuludela ukholo lwawo. Phakathi nempi yezwe yokugcina, amaKristu akhetha ukuhlupheka nokufa ezinkanjini zokuhlushwa kunokuba enze izinto ezazingamjabulisi uNkulunkulu. Yeka ukuthi ukwesaba uNkulunkulu kungamandla amakhulu kanjani! Ngokuqinisekile, uma kwaqinisa amaKristu ukuba anqobe ukwesaba umuntu ngaphansi kwezimo ezilinga kanjalo, kungasiqinisa ngaphansi kwanoma yisiphi isimo esingase sizithole sikuso.

Namuhla, uSathane uDeveli wenza konke angakwenza ukuze asiphoqelele ukuba simdumaze uNkulunkulu. Ngakho amaKristu eqiniso kufanele abe nokuzimisela okufana nalokho okwachazwa umphostoli uPawulu lapho ebhala: “Asisibo abokuhlehlela ekubhujisweni, kodwa singabokukholwa kuze kube-ngukusindiswa komphefumulo.” (Heberu 10:39) Ukwesaba uJehova kungumthombo wangempela wamandla. Ngosizo lwakho, ‘masisho ngesibindi sithi: INkosi ingumsizi wami, angiyikwesaba; umuntu angangenzani na?’—Heberu 13:6.
