Izwe Elifundiswe Ukuba Nenzondo

ABANTU banobugovu ngokwemvelo. Futhi ubugovu, uma bungalawulwa, bungaphenduka inzondo. Njengokungathi ubugovu obungokwemvelo abanele, umphakathi wesintu empeleni uqeqesha abantu ukuba babe nobugovu!

Yiqiniso, isisho esithi zifa ngamvunye asisebenzi ngaso sonke isikhathi, kodwa izimo zengqondo ezithile zande kakhulu ukuba zingabhekwa njengezihlukile. Ingabe abezombangazwe abakhathaleli kakhulu ukuphumelela okhethweni kunokusiza abantu ababakhethayo? Ingabe osomabhizinisi abakhathaleli kakhulu ukuzuza imali, ngobuqili uma kudingekile, kunokunqanda imikhiqizo eyingozi ingafinyeleli emakethe? Ingabe abefundisi ngokuvamile abakhathaleli ukuthandwa noma ukuzuza imali kunokuqondisa imihlambi yabo ezindleleni zokulunga nothando?

Ukuqala Ngabantwana

Uma abantwana bekhuliswa ngokuyekelelwa, eqinisweni baqeqeshelwa ukuba nobugovu, njengoba ukucabangela abanye nokungabi nabugovu kuthathelwa indawo izifiso zabo zobuntwana. Esikoleni nasekolishi, abafundi bafundiswa ukuba baphishekele ukuba ongqaphambili, hhayi ezifundweni kuphela kodwa nakwezemidlalo. Isiqubulo siwukuthi, “Uma uphuma isibili, kufana nokuba owokugcina!”

Imidlalo yama-video eveza ubudlova ifundisa intsha ukuxazulula izinkinga ngendlela yobugovu—ngokumane ubhubhise isitha! Lesi ngokuqinisekile akusona isimo sengqondo esikhuthaza uthando! Eminyakeni engaphezu kweyishumi edlule, udokotela omkhulu ohlinzayo wase-United States waxwayisa ngokuthi imidlalo yama-video yayiwusongo entsheni. Wathi: “Yonke iphathelene nokubhubhisa isitha. Akukho okwakhayo kulemidlalo.” Incwadi eyabhalelwa i-New York Times yaphawula ukuthi imidlalo eminingi yama-video “yanelisa imizwelo yomuntu eyonakalisayo ngempela” yabe isinezela: “Isungula isizukulwane sentsha enganaki, nengenangqondo.” Umshisekeli waseJalimane wemidlalo ye-video walivuma ngokwethembeka iqiniso lamazwi akamuva lapho ethi: “Lapho ngiyidlala ngazithola ngisezweni lamaphupho elihlukile lapho kwakusebenza khona isiqubulo sobuqaba esithi: ‘Bulala noma ubulawe.’”

Uma ihambisana nokucwasana kwezinhlanga, inzondo iba yimbi nakakhulu. Ngakho-ke kusobala ukuthi amaJalimane akhathazekile ngokuba khona kwama-video ontamolukhuni aveza ubudlova kubafokazi, ikakhulukazi abangamaTurk. Futhi lokhu kuyezwakala, njengoba kusukela ngo-January 1, 1994, abantu abangamaTurk babengamaphesenti angu-27,9 ezakhamuzini zaseJalimane ezingu-6878 100 ezivela kwamanye amazwe.

Sekungamakhulu eminyaka abaholi bamaphekula beshoshozela amaqembu abashisekeli ngokubhaceka iqembu lohlanga oluthile ngezinkinga zabo.”

Inzondo esinesikhathi eside yezinye izinhlanga, noma izizwe iyimbangela yezinkinga eziningi ezweni lanamuhla. Futhi ukwesaba abafokazi kuyanda. Nokho, ngokuthakazelisayo, iqembu lezazi zenhlalo laseJalimane lathola ukuthi ukwesaba abafokazi kuphawuleka kakhulu endaweni enabafokazi abambalwa. Lokhu kubonakala kufakazela ukuthi ngokuvamile kubangelwa ubandlululo kunalokho umuntu aye wabhekana nakho ngokomuntu siqu. Lezi zazi zenhlalo zathola ukuthi “ubandlululo intsha enalo ngokuyinhloko lukhuthazwa abangane nemikhaya yakubo.” Ngempela, amaphesenti angu-77 alabo okwaxoxwa nabo, nakuba babevumelana nobandlululo, babengakaze basebenzelane ngokuqondile nabafokazi.

Ukufundisa umuntu ukuba nobugovu akunzima, ngoba sonke siye sazuza njengefa ubugovu kubazali abangaphelele. Kodwa inkolo ifeza yiphi indima ekungqubuzaneni kothando nenzondo?

Inkolo Ifundisani?

Abantu ngokuvamile bacabanga ukuthi inkolo ikhuthaza uthando. Kodwa uma kunjalo, kungani ukungqubuzana okungokwenkolo kuyimbangela eyinhloko yezingxabano eNyakatho Ireland, eMpumalanga Ephakathi naseNdiya, uma sibala nje izibonelo ezintathu? Yiqiniso, abanye abantu bathi kufanele kusolwe ukungqubuzana kwezombangazwe, hhayi kwezenkolo, ngenxa yalezi zingxabano. Lelo phuzu liyimpikiswano. Nokho, kusobala ukuthi inkolo ehleliwe iye yahluleka ukugxilisa kubantu uthando oluqine ngokwanele ukuba lunqobe ubandlululo lwezombangazwe nolobuhlanga. Eqinisweni, amakholwa amaningi angamaKatolika nama-Orthodox, kanye namakholwa ezinye izinkolo, ayaluvuna ubandlululo, olubangela ubudlova.

Akukho okungalungile ngokuzama ukuphikisa izimfundiso nemikhuba yeqembu lenkolo umuntu angase abe nomuzwa wokuthi ayilungile. Kodwa ingabe lokhu kumnikeza ilungelo lokusebenzisa ubudlova ekulweni nayo noma amalungu ayo? I-Encyclopedia of Religion ngobuqotho iyavuma: “Abaholi benkolo baye bakushoshozela ngokuphindaphindiwe ukuhlaselwa ngobudlova kwamanye amaqembu enkolo emlandweni waseMpumalanga Eseduze naseYurophu.”

Le-encyclopedia yembula ukuthi ubudlova buyingxenye eyinhloko yenkolo, ithi: “Abasekeli bakaDarwin akubona bodwa ababheka ingxabano njengedingekile ukuze kube nenguquko emphakathini nasengqondweni. Inkolo iye yaba umthombo ongenamkhawulo wezingxabano, wobudlova, futhi kanjalo wenguquko.”

Ubudlova abunakuthethelelwa ngokuthi buyadingeka ukuze kube noshintsho, ngoba lokhu bekuyophambana nesimiso esaziwayo esamiswa uJesu Kristu lapho umphostoli uPetru ezama ukumvikela. UPetru “welula isandla sakhe futhi wahosha inkemba yakhe, wagalela isigqila sompristi ophakeme futhi wasusa indlebe yaso. Khona-ke uJesu wathi kuye: ‘Buyisela inkemba yakho endaweni yayo, ngoba bonke labo abaphatha inkemba bayobhubha ngenkemba.’”—Mathewu 26:51, 52; Johane 18:10, 11.

Ukuba nobudlova kubantu—kungakhathaliseki ukuthi balungile noma babi—akuyona indlela yothando. Ngakho, abantu abaphendukela ebudloveni bakufakazela njengamanga ukuzisholo kwabo ukuthi balingisa uNkulunkulu onothando. Umlobi u-Amos Oz waphawula muva nje: “Abashisekeli benkolo bavame . . . ukuthi ‘imiyalo’ abayithola kuNkulunkulu ngokuyinhloko iwumyalo owodwa othi: Bulala. Kubonakala sengathi unkulunkulu wabo bonke abashisekeli benkolo ungudeveli.”

IBhayibheli lisho okuthile okufanayo: “Abantwana bakaNkulunkulu nabantwana bakaDeveli babonakala ngaleliqiniso: Wonke umuntu ongaqhubeki enza ukulunga akasuki kuNkulunkulu nalowo ongamthandi umfowabo. Wonke umuntu ozonda umfowabo ungumbulali wabantu, futhi niyazi ukuthi akekho umbulali wabantu onokuphila okumi phakade okuhlezi kuye. Uma noma ubani ethi: ‘Ngiyamthanda uNkulunkulu,’ kodwa nokho abe ezonda umfowabo, ungumqambimanga. Ngoba ongamthandi umfowabo, ambonileyo, akunakwenzeka ukuthi uyamthanda uNkulunkulu, angambonanga. Futhi lomyalo sinawo uvela kuye, wokuthi othanda uNkulunkulu kufanele athande nomfowabo.”—1 Johane 3:10, 15; 4:20, 21.

Inkolo yeqiniso kumelwe ilandele indlela yothando, okuhlanganisa ukubonisa uthando ngisho nasezitheni. Sifunda lokhu ngoJehova: ‘Wenza ilanga lakhe liphume phezu kwabantu ababi nabahle futhi wenza line phezu kwabantu abalungileyo nabangalungile.’ (Mathewu 5:44, 45; bheka neyoku-1 Johane 4:7-10.) Yeka indlela ahluke ngayo kuSathane, unkulunkulu wenzondo! Uheha futhi anxenxele abantu ekuphileni ngokuzitika ngamanyala, ngobugebengu nangobugovu, kanjalo enze ukuphila kwabo kube nezinhlungu nosizi. Ngesikhathi esifanayo wazi kahle kamhlophe ukuthi lendlela yokuphila ehlanekezelwe ekugcineni iyoholela ekubhujisweni kwabo. Ingabe yilowo unkulunkulu okufanelekelayo ukukhonzwa, ongakwazi—futhi ngokusobala ongazimisele nakuzimisela—ukuvikela izinceku zakhe?

Ukwesaba, Intukuthelo, Noma Umuzwa Wokoniwa

Kufakazelwa kalula ukuthi lezi zici zibangela inzondo. Umbiko we-Time uthi: “Kuyaqala ukuba izinhlangano eziyinqwaba zontamolukhuni zaseYurophu zisizakale ngamathuba amaningi kangaka avelayo kusukela ezikhathini ezinzima zawo-1930. . . . Besaba ukuphelelwa imisebenzi, abantu bathukuthelela ohulumeni abangakhethi futhi basulela kubafokazi abakhe phakathi kwabo.” Kuyi-Rheinischer Merkur/Christ und Welt, uJörg Schindler wadonsela ukunakekela emashumini ezinkulungwane zababaleki bezombangazwe aye athutheleka eJalimane kuleminyaka engamashumi amabili edlule. I-German Tribune iyaxwayisa: “Ukucwasana kwezinhlanga kuyanda kulo lonke elaseYurophu.” Ukuthutheleka kwabafuduki abaningi kangaka kubangela imizwa yenzondo. Abantu bazwakala bekhononda: ‘Basidlela imali, basithathela imisebenzi, bawusongo emadodakazini ethu.’ UTheodore Zeldin, ilungu leSt. Antony’s College, e-Oxford, wathi abantu “banobudlova ngoba bazizwa besongelwa noma belulazwa. Yizimbangela zokuthukuthela kwabo okufanele ziqashelwe.”

Intatheli yethelevishini yaseBrithani uJoan Bakewell isebenzisa amazwi afanele ukuchaza izwe lethu, elifundisa izakhamuzi zalo ukuba nenzondo. Iyabhala: “Angiyena umKristu osadla ngoludala, kodwa ngiyaqaphela ukuthi imfundiso kaJesu ineqiniso elijulile nelimsulwa: ububi buwukuntuleka okudabukisayo kothando. . . . Ngiyazi ukuthi siphila emphakathini ongenandaba nemfundiso yothando. Ngempela, umphakathi onobuqili kangangokuba ulahla lemfundiso ngokuthi iwubuwula, ishukunyiswa imizwelo, ingeyaseZweni Lasemaphusheni, umphakathi okuklolodelayo ukubeka ukukhathalela nokungabi nobugovu ngaphambi kwenzuzo nobugovu. Lomphakathi uyakwenqaba ukuboniswa iphutha lapho wenza isivumelwano, uyakhohlisa ezibophweni zawo futhi ububukela phansi ubufakazi obuwubeka ngokucacile ephutheni. Izwe elinjalo liveza izehluleki, onkom’idla yodwa, abantu abaye bahluleka ukufinyelela izinto eziza kuqala emphakathini, impumelelo, ukuzethemba nemikhaya ejabulayo.”

Ngokusobala, unkulunkulu walelizwe, uSathane, ufundisa isintu ukuba nenzondo. Kodwa njengabantu ngabanye, singafunda ukuba nothando. Isihloko esilandelayo sizobonisa ukuthi lokhu kungenzeka.
