Trust in Jehovah the Most High God

1. What some of the bad-bad thing dem da happen to Job?

PLENTY bad-bad thing dem just start happening to the faithful man Job. All his children dem die. They steal some of his animal dem and they kill some. Plenty of his servant dem die. Then Job seh get sick bad way. Beside da, his good name spoil. And his friend dem who say they come comfort him, only say thing dem da discourage him more. Even his wife wor feeling so bad da she tell Job to “curse God and die.” (Job 2:9; 15:​4, 5; 19:​1-3) This bad-bad thing dem da happen to Job, could make Job to stop trusting Jehovah. It could even make him to feel da Jehovah can’t protect people who love him and serving him.

2-3. (a) When we going through problem, how we can start thinking? (b) Wetin we coming learn from the book of Job?

² We living in the time da “thing dem really hard.” So like Job, we ourself too can go through serious problem dem da can test our trust in Jehovah. (2 Tim. 3:1) And when we going through different-different problem at the same time, it can make us to be sad and it can be hard to bear it. Like da, we can start thinking whether Jehovah really care for us.

³ If you na feel like da before, don’t be discourage. Job learn da Jehovah can’t forget about people who faithful to Him. We ourself too can learn to get da same trust in Jehovah, our heavenly Father. To help us get da trust, we coming learn two important things from the book of Job: (1) We can always trust Jehovah because he the Most High God. (2) Jehovah get the power to make sure da anything he say, it can happen. He can also protect his people from anything da can spoil their friendship with him or harm them.

SATAN ENTER AMONG THEM

4. According to the book of Job, who enter among Jehovah and the angel dem?

⁴ The Bible say, “the sons of the true God” gather together in front of Jehovah in heaven. Then it say: “Satan also entered among them.” (Job 1:6) Da the first place in the Bible we can find the name “Satan.” And he get da name because he can go against Jehovah. By da time, Satan wor not Jehovah faithful son again. He wor enemy now to Jehovah, the faithful angel dem and Jehovah faithful people on earth. So Satan wor not part of Jehovah family again. And Genesis 3:15 show da Satan not part of “the woman.” Da mean he not part of Jehovah family of spirit creatures who wor coming produce the “offspring.”

5. Wetin we learn from what Satan say during da meeting and from the way Jehovah answer him?

⁵ Jehovah want us to know what happen during da meeting in heaven so he put it in the Bible. The thing dem Satan say make it clear da he wicked and he hate people who serving Jehovah. (Job 1:9; compare Revelation 12:10.) And the way Jehovah answer him give us the comfort da he Jehovah can be fair when he using his power. It also show da because he Almighty he get the right to decide what people can do or what they can’t do.

JEHOVAH GET THE POWER TO DECIDE WHAT PEOPLE CAN DO OR WHAT THEY CAN’T DO

6. How Jehovah show da he wor in control of the meeting da they wor having in heaven? (Job 1:​7, 8)

⁶ Read Job 1:​7, 8. Jehovah show da he wor in control of the meeting da they wor having in heaven. Jehovah knew da Satan wanted to attack faithful Job. So he ask Satan: “Have you taken note of my servant Job?” Let see how Jehovah use his power to help Job.

7. According to Job 1:​10, 11, wetin Satan say about people who serving Jehovah?

⁷ Read Job 1:​10, 11. Jehovah da the Most High Ruler over everybody and he can use his power the right way. (Jer. 32:17; Dan. 4:35) But Satan say da Jehovah wor not using His power the right way. In other words, Satan wor saying da God can bribe people to serve Him, the same way he bribe Job. Satan also say da people who serving Jehovah can do it only because of what they can get from Him. How Jehovah answer Satan?

8-9. What clear command Jehovah give to Satan, and why? (Job 1:12) (Also see the picture.)

⁸ Read Job 1:12. Jehovah allow the Devil to test Job and see whether Job not really love Jehovah. But Jehovah give Satan clear command about what he can do to Job and what he can’t do. God tell Satan say: “Do not lay your hand on the man [Job] himself!” All the angel dem da wor to da meeting, hear Jehovah giving Satan da command. Satan wor force to obey da command. He wor not having the power to do any other thing to Job beside the one da Jehovah allow him to do. And da the same way today, Satan can only do what Jehovah allow him to do. So Jehovah use His power to protect Job and to protect His own name.

⁹ Satan first attack on Job fail bad way. Job continue to be faithful to his heavenly Father. (Job 1:22) But Satan wor not finish testing Job yet .

10. Why Jehovah allow Satan to test Job again? (Job 2:​2-6)

¹⁰ Read Job 2:​2-6. This time around, Satan wanted to do something really bad to Job so he can stop serving Jehovah. Satan say da if Job get to know da he wor coming die, he wor coming to stop serving Jehovah. To show da Satan wor wrong, Jehovah allow him to make Job sick bad way. But Jehovah give Satan another command again. He say: “Do not take his life!” So Satan wor not having the power to kill Job because Jehovah wor not coming allow him to do it. Here, Jehovah show again da he the Most High Ruler, because Satan wor not having the power to do any other thing to Job beside the one da Jehovah allow him to do.

JEHOVAH END JOB SUFFERING

11. When Job suffering end, how Jehovah bless Job? (Job 42:​10-13)

¹¹ Read Job 42:​10-13. Job show da he wor always coming remain faithful to Jehovah. So Jehovah stop Satan from attacking Job again. Jehovah end Job suffering. Satan wor not having the power to stop Jehovah from protecting and blessing his faithful servant Job.

12. Give example of what Jehovah na do for some of his servant dem who trust da he get the power to save people.

¹² During this last days, Jehovah na use his power to save plenty of his servant dem. For example in 1945, soldier people force 230 Jehovah Witnesses to walk long distance in dangerous area. They wor carrying them from one prison camp in Germany to the sea so they can kill them. But all of them survive. They write about their experience. They say: “Jehovah save us the same way he save the three Hebrew boys from the fire. When this three boy dem came from in the fire, smoke wor not even smelling on them. In fact, Jehovah give them more strength.” They also say: “The way Jehovah save us looking just like the way he save Daniel from the lion den. So, the only thing we want now-now, da to continue serving Jehovah forever. Because da the greatest blessing we can ever get.”—Compare Daniel 3:27; 6:22.

13. Wetin we can be sure about when we going through problem? (Also see the pictures.)

¹³ We too will go through problem dem da looking just like we in the lion den. (1 Pet. 5:​8-10) Sometime, we will be discourage and be thinking da our problem will never end. But thinking about Job example can help us when we in this kindna situation. We can be sure da Jehovah get the power to end our suffering. If he not do it now-now, he will do it in the new world. He na set the day for this wicked world to end. And he will not allow one day to pass by da day!

JEHOVAH LOVE HIS LOYAL SERVANT DEM

14-15. Wetin Jehovah want do for his loyal servant dem and why? (Job 14:15) (Also see the picture.)

¹⁴ Read Job 14:15. Our heavenly Father loyal to people who loyal to him. He love them so much da even if they die, he really want bring them back to life. When he bring people back to life in the new world, everybody will be happy.—Isa. 65:17.

¹⁵ Even though Job wor still living in Satan world, the Bible tell us da Jehovah bless Job. He make Job alright and give him plenty good-good thing dem pass the one he wor having before. This blessing dem da Jehovah give to Job, just show small of what he will do for Job in the future. Jehovah show da he want his loyal servant dem to really be happy and enjoy life. In fact, Jehovah will bless everybody who will remain faithful to him and they will live forever on the paradise earth. (Rev. 21:​3, 4) And he really want do it because he the Most High God. Ehn it can really comfort us when we think about the way Jehovah will bless us?

16. What other reason we get to trust in Jehovah as the Most High God?

¹⁶ Even though Job live for long, he still die. But because Jehovah da the Most High God, he get the power to bring Job back to life. (Deut. 32:39) So nobody able to stop him from bringing his people dem who he love, back to life. And he na set the time to do it.—Rom. 8:​38, 39.

TRUST IN JEHOVAH WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART

17. Wetin show da Satan not able to destroy Jehovah people altogether?

¹⁷ We na learn from the book of Job da we get plenty good-good reason to trust Jehovah with our whole heart. We want tell Jehovah thank you because He not allow Satan to destroy His people dem altogether! And we convince da Jehovah da the Most High God because today, almost nine million people serving him faithfully. Plenty powerful government and religious leader dem na try to stop Jehovah people from worshipping him and preaching the good news. But they not able to do it because Jehovah na help us. (Isa. 54:17) And nothing can stop us from telling people da Jehovah da the true God and Satan da liar and he can kill. Death seh can’t even stop us because Jehovah will bring his loyal servant dem who na die back to life.—Hos. 13:14.

18. Why we mon not be scare of what will happen in the future?

¹⁸ When we think good-good on Job example, we can make our faith more strong da no matter what happen in the future, Jehovah will be with us. So we will not be scary. During the great tribulation, Satan and his people will be thinking da God people weak so they will attack God people. But Jehovah will use his almighty power just how he use it for Job. He will not allow Satan to do anything to his people da will harm them forever. Jehovah will soon end all the suffering da Satan na bring on human being. Jesus will throw Satan and his demon dem in the abyss for 1,000 years. (Luke 8:31; Rev. 20:​1-3) Then after the 1,000 years, Satan and all the people who will follow him, will be destroy forever and ever, just how Jehovah say it.—Gen. 3:15; Rom. 16:20; Rev. 20:10

19. How Jehovah will bless all the people who trust him with their whole heart? (Also see the picture.)

¹⁹ We really waiting for the time the new world will come because we will be perfect and we will really be happy. We not even able to imagine how life will be better. Jehovah say: “Look! I am making all things new.” (Rev. 21:5) Wetin it mean? It mean da Satan and his demon dem will not be able to harm people or make people to do wicked things again. We will really be free! We will not catch hard time to sleep because all the thing dem da can make us to worry in Satan world, will be finish. All the people who will survive during Armageddon, will see plenty miracles. Sick people will get alright. Beside da one, our people dem who na die, will start coming back to life. During da time, we will live the way our heavenly Father always want us to live!

20. Wetin you want try your best to do?

²⁰ In this last days, we will go through plenty problem and we will need to be brave to remain faithful. So let try our best to continue to trust Jehovah as our ruler and obey him with our whole heart. Let continue to show da we love our heavenly Father Jehovah. Let also continue to show da all the thing dem Satan say about Jehovah and his faithful servant dem da so-so lie. Yes, we can be sure da we will get good future under the rulership of our Most High God Jehovah, who really want bless his loyal servant dem!
