3 Den Judas, da back stabba, find out dat Jesus get da death sentence, an he feel bad fo wat he did. So he bring da 30 silva pieces back to da main pries guys an eldas, 4 an tell: “I wen sin cuz I wen hand ova to you one guy dat wuz innocent.” Dey sed: “Dass yoa problem, not ouas. You go do wat you gotta do!” 5 So he throw da silva pieces inside da tempo an leave. Den he wen go hang himself. 6 Den da main pries guys take da silva pieces, an tell: “We no can put um wit da money fo da tempo, cuz dis iz blood money.” 7 Afta dey talk um ova, dey go use da money fo buy one piece land* fo bury strangers. 8 Dass how come dey call dat place Field Of Blood til dis day. 9 Den wat Jeremiah* da prophet tell wen come tru: “An dey take da 30 silva pieces, da price some of da sons of Israel wen set fo pay fo him, 10 an use um fo buy da land. Da one dey call da Christ?” Dey yell: “Put um on da pos!”* 23 He tell: “How come? Wat bad stuff he did?” But dey keep yelling even moa: “Put um on da pos!”

24 Wen Pilate see he no could change dea mind an tings wuz getting outa control, he wen take watta an wash his hands in front da peopo an tell: “Dis not on me, his blood iz on you guys. Dass yoa kuleana.” 25 Den all da peopo ansa back: “Let his blood come on us an oua kids too.” 26 Den he let go Bar·abʹbas, but he orda his guys fo whip Jesus an kill him on top da pos.

27 Den da govna’s soldiers take Jesus inside da govna’s house an gadda all da troops aroun him. 28 Den dey take off some of his clothes, an put one bright red robe ova him, 29 an dey wen make one crown outa thorns an put um on his head an had um hold one stick in his right hand. An dey go down on dea knees in front him, an tease him: “Aloha! You King of da Jews!” 30 An dey spit on him an take da stick from his hand an start fo hit um on da head. 31 Afta dey pau tease him, dey hemo da robe an put his clothes back on an take um to wea dey goin nail um on da pos.

32 On da way dea, dey wen find one guy name Simon from Cy·reʹne. An dey force him fo carry Jesus torcha pos.* 33 Wen dey get to da place dey call Golʹgo·tha, dat mean, Skull Place, 34 dey wen give um wine dat wuz mixed wit someting bitta fo drink. Afta he taste um, he neva drink um. 35 Wen dey nail him to da pos, dey throw small stones* fo see who goin get his clothes, 36 an dey sit ova dea fo guard him. 37 An dey wen put one sign above his head dat tell wat he wuz charged wit: “Dis iz Jesus da King of da Jews.”

38 Den two crooks wuz put on da pos nex to him, one on da right an one on da lef. 39 All da guys goin by shake dea heads an talk real pilau about him, 40 an dey tell: “You not da one dat sed you can buss down da tempo an build um back up in three days? Save yoaself den! If you really one of God’s boys, den get yoaself down from da torcha pos!” 41 Da main pries guys, da scribes,* an da eldas tease him too, an dey tell: 42 “He can save odda guys but he no can save himself! He da King of Israel. If he come down from da torcha pos, den we goin believe him. 43 He wen put his trus in God, so let God save him if He like him, cuz he sed, “I God’s Boy.”” 44 Jus like dem, even da crooks dat wuz on da pos nex to him wuz talking stink about him too.

45 From about 12 o’clock* til 3 o’clock* in da aftanoon, wen come real dark all ova da place.* 46 Aroun 3 o’clock in da aftanoon, Jesus wen yell real loud: “Eʹli, Eʹli, laʹma sa·bach·thaʹni?” dat mean, “My God, my God, how come you bag from me?” 47 Wen dey hea dis, some of da guys standing dea tell: “Dis guy calling E·liʹjah.” 48 Right away, one of dem run an get one sponge an soak um in sour wine. Dey put um on one stick an give um to Jesus fo drink. 49 But da odda guys ova dea tell: “Try wait, leave um alone! We like see if E·liʹjah goin come save him.” 50 One moa time Jesus yell real loud an den he mahke.*

51 An try look! Da curtain in da tempo* wen rip in half from da top to da bottom, an da earth wen shake, an da rocks wen split. 52 An da graves* wen open up, an plenny dead bodies of God’s peopo wen come out 53 an plenny peopo had see um. (Afta Jesus wuz resurrected, peopo dat wen come from wea da graves wuz, had go inside da holy city).* 54 But wen da army officer an da oddas guarding Jesus saw da earthquake an evryting dat wuz happening, dey come real sked an tell: “Fo shua dis wuz God’s Boy.”

55 An plenny wahines wuz watching from far. Dey wuz da ones who wen go wit Jesus from Galʹi·lee fo help him. 56 Some of dem wuz Mary Magʹda·lene, Mary da maddah of James an Joʹses, an da maddah of Zebʹe·dee’s boys.

57 Wuz late in da aftanoon, an one rich guy from Ar·i·ma·theʹa name Joseph wen come. He wuz one of Jesus followas. 58 Dis guy went up to Pilate an wen ask fo Jesus body. Den Pilate tell his soldiers fo give um to him. 59 Joseph take da body, wrap um up in clean, expensive linen, 60 an put um inside his new tomb* dat he wen cut out in da rock. An afta he roll one big rock fo close da tomb, he wen go. 61 But Mary Magʹda·lene an da odda Mary wen stay dea, sitting by da grave.

62 Da day afta dey wen prepare fo da Sabbath,* da main pries guys an da Pharisees* wen come togedda in front Pilate, 63 an tell him: “Mista, we rememba dat wen he wuz still alive, dat bulaia had tell: “Afta three days I goin come back alive.” 64 So, tell yoa soldiers fo lock down da grave til da third day, so dat his guys no can come steal his body an tell da peopo, “He wen come back alive!” Dis las lie goin be moa worse den da firs one.” 65 Pilate sed to dem: “You can have one guard. Go lock down da grave az good az you can.” 66 So dey go put one guard ova dea by da rock an seal um up real tight.
