IMpi Yezwe II yayisondela. Umoya wawuya ushuba eYurophu. OFakazi BakaJehova babezobhekana kanjani nesimo? Ukwenqaba inkonzo yezempi ngenxa kanembeza kwakungakandi eCzechoslovakia. IJalimane Iqala Ukuthatha Izintambo

Bonke abesilisa badutshulwa, izingane zayiswa lapho kungaziwa khona, isimame sathuthelwa ekamu lokuhlushwa laseRavensbrück. Ngatholana lapho noFakazi beNkosi yethu uJehova . . . Ngesinye isikhathi umngane wami wathi, ‘Božena, ngixoxe nabaFundi BeBhayibheli. Bakhuluma izinto ezimangalisayo. Ungathi inganekwane, kodwa bathi lokho iBhayibheli elikushoyo kuyiqiniso, ukuthi uMbuso kaNkulunkulu uzofika uqede bonke ububi.’ Kamuva ngaxoxa nabo mathupha. Bangitshela ngoMbuso kaNkulunkulu, futhi sangikhanga kakhulu isigijimi sabo.” Yebo, waba omunye woFakazi BakaJehova.
Ukuziphatha koFakazi BakaJehova emakamu kwazihlaba umxhwele ngokujulile iziboshwa eziningi. U-Alois Miczek uyakhumbula: “Ngesikhathi sempi ngaboshelwa imisebenzi yami yobuKhomanisi futhi ngafakwa ekamu lokuhlushwa laseMauthausen. Ngandlela-thile oFakazi lapha babekwazi ukuthola INqabayokulinda nezinye izincwadi, abazisebenzisela ukufundisa ezinye iziboshwa, futhi ama-SS ehluleka ukukuvimbela lokhu. Indodakazi yakhe, uMarie Gogolková, iyachaza: “Ukubona oFakazi BakaJehova eMauthausen kwaholela ekubeni ubaba amukele iqiniso. Wabhapathizwa ngokushesha nje ngemva kwempi, futhi washumayela ngentshiseko ngoMbuso kaNkulunkulu wasiza nabaningi ukuba bafunde iqiniso.”
U-Oldřich Nesrovnal, waseBrno, naye wayesekamu lokuhlushwa. Ngani? Wayeyenyanya impi, ngakho wazama ukubaleka eqe umngcele aye eSwitzerland. Washaywa, kodwa nalokho akuzange kumdikibalise . . .
“Ngabhalela umama ngicela iBhayibheli, futhi kuyamangaza ukuthi lafika. Ngaqala ukulifunda njalo. Umlisa othile wase-Ostrava [eMoravia] wangibona. Wangibuza ukuthi ngangikuqonda yini lokho engangikufunda, ngamtshela ukuthi ngangiqonda cishe ingxenye yako. ‘Ungathanda ukuqonda okwengeziwe?’ Ngaphendula: ‘Yebo.’ ‘Masihlangane kusasa ngemva kuka-6:00 ntambama endaweni ewukuthi.’ Ngangiqala ukuba semhlanganweni woFakazi BakaJehova. Imihlangano yayiqhutshwa nsuku zonke ngemva kuka-6:00 ntambama, kathathu ngeSonto. Umqhubi nesihloko kwakwabiwa kusengaphambili. ‘Uthisha’ wami kwakuyinceku yezincwadi. Wayengumkhandi wezicathulo wekamu, futhi zonke izincwadi ezikopishwe ngesandla zazifihlwa ngaphansi kwesihlalo ayesebenzela kuso. Kodwa angiphindanga ngezwa ngoGregor, kwaze kwaphela unyaka nesigamu. Kwathi ekupheleni kuka-1944, ngizibukela isixuku seziboshwa sivela emakamu ahlukahlukene, ngambona uGregor. Wayebukeka emude ngesigamu semitha kunangaphambili kodwa ezace ewuthi lokuvungula. ISikhumbuzo Ekamu Lokuhlushwa
Kwakungenzeka yini kugujwe iSikhumbuso sokufa kukaKristu ngaphansi kwezimo ezinjalo? Yebo, kwakungenzeka! Kodwa ngezinye izikhathi, abantu babezibuza ukuthi kwakuzokwenziwa kanjani. UBožena Nováková wachaza: “ISikhumbuzo sasisondela. Ngangingajabulile neze ngoba ngangicabanga ukuthi ngangingeke ngikwazi ukudla izifanekiselo. Kodwa uJehova wangenela. Wayesazi isifiso sami, ngakho ngosuku lweSikhumbuzo, ngabizelwa kwelinye ikamu. Kwase kukhona odade abaningana bezizwe ezihlukahlukene. ISikhumbuzo, kanye nokudliwa kwezifanekiselo, kwenziwa ngaphandle kwesiphazamiso. Ukubonga, inkazimulo nodumo makube kuNkulunkulu wethu, uJehova, naseWundlwini lakhe!”
Kodwa sasitholakale kanjani isinkwa esingenamvubelo newayini? Wanezela: “Edolobheni laseFürstenberg elaliseduze, kwakukhona oFakazi BakaJehova ababesebenza epulazini likaHulumeni abasinikeza izifanekiselo.”
Ngemva kwalesi sibusiso uDade Nováková wehlelwa esinye isigigaba—esinzima kodwa esiqinisa ukholo. Uyakhumbula: “Langa limbe ngabizelwa ezindlini zokugezela. Kwakuyindawo enamashawa, kodwa lapho kuvulelwa amanzi, kwakuphuma igesi esikhundleni samanzi. Abesifazane ababethelwa lo shevu, babephonswa kohhavini, ngezinye izikhathi besaphila. Ngangingakwazi lokho kwaze kwaba yilapho unogada wesifazane ethi kimi: ‘Wena Bibelforscher [njengoba oFakazi BakaJehova babebizwa kanjalo], uzongena kule gesi! Sizobona-ke ukuthi uJehova wakho uzokusindisa yini!’” Njengoba uDade Nováková ayephenduka, amehlo akhe agcwala izinyembezi, wathandaza: “Baba Jehova, uma ngizofa, ngicela kwenzeke intando yakho. Kodwa ngithandazela izingane zami. Sengizishiya ezandleni zakho ngokuphelele.” Exoxa ngokwenzeka ngaleso sikhathi, wathi: “Ngisathandaza, kwavuleka umnyango kwangena udokotela omkhulu, wabona unxantathu wami onsomi, wathi: ‘Bibelforscher, wenzani lapha? Ubani okuthumele la?’ Ngaphendula ngathi ngangithunyelwe unogada. Wathi: ‘Phuma lapha! Indawo yakho ilaphaya!’ ekhomba umnyango. Njengoba ngiphuma, ngezwa unogada ethi: ‘Manje sengiyakholwa ukuthi uJehova wabo uyabavikela.’”
Ukufakaza Ngesikhathi Kuphethe AmaNazi
Nakuba kungekho mibiko yenkonzo yasensimini eyaqoqwa phakathi nalesi sikhathi, ukushunyayelwa kwezindaba ezinhle kwaqhubeka eCzechoslovakia. URŭžena Lívancová, wasedolobheni laseKladno, wabhala: “Umama wasifundisa ukuba sibe nokholo kuNkulunkulu, hhayi ngendlela abapristi ababefundisa ngayo, kodwa wasifundisa ukuhlonipha abantu. UFrantišek waqhubeka etadisha iBhayibheli, kwathi ngo-August 1942 wabhapathizwa. Ngonyaka olandelayo waboshwa amaGestapo. Kodwa uJehova waqhubeka emnika usizo ayeludinga ukuze akhule ngokomoya. UFrantišek wachaza: “EMauthausen ngatholana noMfoweth’ uMartin Poetzinger. Wayengumzalwane onesibindi nonokuqonda. Wangenzela amahliphasi, futhi wayenginika izincwadi njalo. Sasiba nemihlangano njalo ngeSonto—ngasese kodwa—khona kanye e-‘Platz’”—ngokusobala okuyindawo okwakuhlolelwa kuyo ukuthi iziboshwa zisaphelele yini ngokuba kubizwe amagama.
UJan Matuszný naye waqaphela ukuthi wayedinga usizo olungokomoya. Kamuva wabhala: “Ngesikhathi sempi ngangisebenza emayini. Mina nabafowethu ababili sasiseqenjini lomculo lasemayini. Ngangibhema ngiphuza. Ngangisesimweni esibi kangangokuthi izandla zami zaziqhaqhazela kuhle kwezekhehla. Ngelinye ilanga lapho ngidakiwe futhi ngizizwa ngilusizi, ngaqala ukuthandaza ngokuzwakalayo kuNkulunkulu, ngimcela ukuba angisize ngandlela-thile ngithole indlela yokuphuma ezinkingeni zami.”
Ngokushesha ngemva kwalokhu, uFakazi mumbe owayehambela udadewabo walo mlisa, waxoxa nalo mlisa kabanzi futhi wamnika iBhayibheli kanye nezincwajana ezintathu. Njengoba ayezifunda, waqiniseka ukuthi lokhu ayekufunda kwakuyiqiniso. Wayeka ukubhema, ukusebenzisa kabi utshwala, ukudlala eqenjini lomculo futhi waqala ukuya emihlanganweni. Wabhapathizwa ngo-1943 echibini lezinhlanzi. Wenezela: “Ngesikhathi sempi sasiyiqhuba njalo imihlangano. Safundiswa incazelo yegama elithi ‘ukuhlehla’ nokuthi kungcono ukufa kunokukhaphela umzalwane. Lokhu kwakha isisekelo esihle soshushiso olwalusengaphambili”—yebo, ushushiso olwaba khona ngisho impi isiphelile.
Ukuyisebenzisa Kahle Inkathi Yokuthula
Ngemva kokuphela kwempi, kwaba nenkathi yenkululeko nokuthula okusesilinganisweni esithile kubantu bakaJehova kusukela ngo-1945 kuya ku-1949. Kwakuyisikhathi sokuvuselelana nesikhathi abafowethu ababehlanganyela ngaso ngentshiseko evuselelwe emsebenzini wabo wokushumayela ababewunikwe uNkulunkulu.—Math. 24:14.

“Osanta” Ezimayini Zamalahle

Kwakubalulekile ukunquma ngokuhlakanipha ukuthi obani abazomenywa. Labo ababehlela babezama ukungakhethi abasha bashiye abadala noma ukungakhethi abazalwane bashiye odade. Kwakuzanywa ukuba kuhlanganiswe nabazalwane abaningana abangamaKristu avuthiwe ngokomoya, ababezonikeza ukuqondisa okudingekayo.
Okwakukhathalelwa ngokuyinhloko kwakuwukuba isimiso esingokomoya sihlanganise izici ezihlukahlukene. Isimiso sansuku zonke sasinjena: Umthandazo wasekuseni, itekisi losuku nokufundwa kweBhayibheli. Ngezinye izikhathi ntambama kwakuba nemihlangano ethatha ihora. Ngokuvamile kusihlwa kwakuba nombuthano ongokomoya onesimiso esasisuke sihlelwe kusengaphambili. Esinye isikhathi sasikhululekile. Abazalwane nodade babengatadisha, baqwale intaba, babhukude noma okunye okunjalo. Ngokuvamile inkonzo yayihlanganiswa nohambo lokuyoqwala izintaba, kodwa nalapho, kwakunemithetho engabhaliwe okwakudingeka ilandelwe. Zama ukubona ngeso lengqondo iqembu labantu abangu-20 beyoqwala intaba. Babethola abantu bendawo emadolobheni amancane, ehlathini nasemasimini. Lapho behlangana nomuntu, umzalwane noma udade wayephuma eqenjini azame ukuqala ingxoxo naye. Bonke abanye baqhubeke nohambo.

USathane uDeveli, “uyise wamanga,” ufuna ukuqeda ukuqiniseka ngokusonta amaqiniso nokukhuluma okungeyikho ngezinceku zikaNkulunkulu ezithembekile. Kodwa nina maKhomanisi anikholelwa ukuthi uNkulunkulu ukhona. Asikwazi ukuba nento esivumelana ngayo. Kodwa ngicabanga ukuthi singakwazi ukuphila nokuhlala ndawonye.’ Lesi sikhulu sathi: ‘Iyangijabulisa impendulo yakho ngoba besingeke sinethembe.’ Ngacabanga ukuthi lo mbuzo wokugcina wabuzelwa ukuthola ukuthi kwakungenzeka yini esikhathini esizayo kube nezingxoxo ezinenjongo phakathi kwethu. Futhi uma kunjalo, zaziyosisondeza ekutholeni ikhambi lesimo sethu.”
Umphumela waleyo ngxoxo waba ukuxhumana kalula kwabazalwane neziphathimandla zikahulumeni. Kodwa ngenxa yomoya owawukhona ngaleso sikhathi, abanye oFakazi abezwa ngalezo zingxoxo baba nomuzwa wokuthi laba bazalwane abaholayo babehlehlile okholweni. Akungabazeki ukuthi abanye abasabela ngale ndlela babenesifiso esinamandla sokugwema noma ikuphi ukuhlehla ezimisweni zobuKristu. Kodwa, abambalwa ababezikhukhumeza abanqenanga ukuveza imizwa yabo yokungabethembi abazalwane ababexoxe nezikhulu zikahulumeni. Kodwa ingabe ukungabethembi kwabo kwakunezisekelo ezinhle?
Kwakuhileleke nezinye izici. UJuraj Kaminský, oseneminyaka engaphezu kuka-50 ekhonza uJehova ngokwethembeka, uyachaza: “Ngemva kokuba abazalwane abaholayo nabadala abaningi beboshiwe, abanye balabo ababehola emabandleni nasezifundeni baqala ukushayela abamemezeli imithetho yokuziphatha, bebatshela okumelwe bakwenze nokungamelwe bakwenze.” Yeka ukuthi kwakuyoba ngcono kanjani ‘ukukhuthaza ukulalela ngokholo,’ njengoba kwenza umphostoli uPawulu! (Roma 16:26) Ngenxa yokuthi umthetho wawuthi abantu mabavote, abanye oFakazi babeya ezikhungweni zokuvota, kodwa ngenxa kanembeza, babengavoteli muntu wezombangazwe. Abanye baba nomuzwa wokuthi laba babehlehlile okholweni. Mhlawumbe ngezizathu ezizwakalayo, abanye abazalwane babengazithandi iziphathimandla ngenxa yokuphathwa kabi kwabafowabo abangamaKristu. UMfoweth’ uMüller uthi: “Lesi simo sangikhathaza kakhulu, ngakho ekwindla ka-1957, ngabhala incwadi [ngisejele], ngenjongo yokusiza abazalwane babheke izinto ngendlela efanele.” Esinye sezigaba zayo sasifundeka kanje:
“Kunokunye okungikhathazayo enhliziyweni. . . . Ngikhumbuza abafowethu ukuthi imihlangano yethu eyokufunda imiBhalo nokuqeqesha oFakazi BakaJehova ukuba babe izikhonzi ezingcono nezifaneleka ngokwengeziwe. Akwamukeleki nhlobo ukuxoxa ngezombangazwe noma ukugxeka uHulumeni emihlanganweni, kungakhathaliseki ukuthi iqhutshelwaphi nokuthi babili yini abakhona noma baningi. Bafowethu, kukhumbuleni lokhu, futhi ningazivumeli izingxoxo ezinjalo. Ingabe bakhona phakathi kwenu ababambele umbuso amagqubu ngoba mina nabanye abazalwane sisejele? Ngiyaninxusa-ke egameni lami, nasegameni labanye abazalwane, ukuba niyiqede imizwa enjalo. Ningayivumeli intukuthelo nenzondo, ngoba indaba yethu siyishiyele kuNkulunkulu futhi nani yenzani kanjalo.”—Roma 12:17–13:1.
Le ncwadi yabakhuthaza kakhulu abazalwane nodade abathembekile. UJan Tesarz wathi: “Sayithola incwadi yakhe, ayeyibhale esejele ngo-1957. Yayingabonisi kuhlehla, kodwa yayibonisa ukuba nengqondo kobuKristu!” Kodwa akubona bonke abayibheka kanjalo. Incwadi kaMfoweth’ uMüller yaba indab’ egudwini kwaba kuningi nokungaqiniseki eyakubanga.
Bazihlukanisa Nebandla
Ngemva kokumenyezelwa kokuthi iziboshwa zezombangazwe zizoxolelwa ngobuningi bazo ngo-May 1960, oFakazi BakaJehova abaningi ababesejele badedelwa. Yeka injabulo ababa nayo! Naphezu kwezinsongo, baqala ukushumayela izindaba ezinhle ngaphandle kokulibala. Abaningi babo babekhumbula isibonelo esabekwa abaphostoli bakaJesu Kristu, okwathi lapho bededelwa ejele bathandazela isibindi sokuqhubeka beshumayela izwi. (IzE. 4:23-31) Kodwa babelindwe izilingo ezintsha.
Abazalwane base bengenwe ukungabaza nokungathembi. Ngesikhathi kuthunyelwa incwadi kaMfoweth’ uMüller kubazalwane ukuze kucaciswe izinto, abanye ababenemibono eqinile negxekayo abavumanga ukuba le ncwadi ifundwe emabandleni. Ngo-1959 inani loFakazi ababikayo eCzechoslovakia lalingu-2 105, kodwa abangaphezu kwenkulungwane, nakuba babethi basakhonza uJehova, babengasamkhonzi ngobunye namaKristu ababekanye nawo. Ngezinye izikhathi, kwakubonakala sengathi yingxoxo yobungane esitolo sokudlela.
Abanye ababebona lokho, ngenxa yokungawazi wonke amaqiniso, bacabanga ukuthi abazalwane ababehileleke kulezi zingxoxo babesekela amaPhoyisa KaHulumeni. Amagama abanye balaba bazalwane aze afakwa nasohlwini lwabasolwa ngokusebenzelana nohulumeni, futhi bagxekwa ngokuthi bashintsha izihloko ezazisuke zizonyatheliswa ukuze zivumelane nezifiso zamaPhoyisa KaHulumeni.
Isikhuthazo Sothando ‘Sokufuna UJehova’
UMfoweth’ uKnorr wayekhathazeke kakhulu ngomsebenzi weNkosi nangalabo ababezama ukukhonza ngokwethembeka nenhlangano kaJehova. Ngo-December 7, 1961, wabhalela abazalwane baseCzechoslovakia incwadi wabenza baqaphela imibhalo enjengoMika 2:12 neHubo 133:1. Wachaza ukuthi iNhlangano imiphi ezindabeni ezihlukahlukene futhi wathi uyabasekela abazalwane abathile ababephathiswe imithwalo yemfanelo. Empeleni, lokhu kwakuyisikhuthazo sothando sokuba abazalwane ‘bafune uJehova’—baqonde indlela umoya kaJehova owawusebenza ngayo ukuze ugcwalise izwi lakhe bese bebambisana namathuluzi uJehova ayewasebenzisa. (Zak. 8:21) Nasi isigaba esisodwa esivela kuleyo ncwadi:
“Bafowethu Abathandekayo: . . . Imibiko engiyitholayo ibonisa ukuthi abazalwane abaningi eCzechoslovakia balondoloza ubunye babo bobuKristu obungokwasezulwini, kodwa ngenxa yokuntuleka kwezinto zokuxhumana abambalwa baye bavumela ukuba amahebezi nenhlebo kudale imibuzo ezingqondweni zabo okuphumele ekuhlulekeni kwabanye ukubambisana nabanye noma ukufaka imibiko yabo yenkonzo. Lokhu kungenza labo abambalwa bangajabuli futhi bangene ezinkathazweni, njengoba sekwenzekile kakade. Ngakho injongo yokunibhalela iwukunazisa ukuthi iNhlangano iqaphela uMfoweth’ u-Adam Januška noMfoweth’ uBohumil Müller nabazalwane abasebenza nabo njengababonisi abangamaKristu abaholayo eCzechoslovakia futhi ngiyanincenga ukuba nikhumbule amazwi kaPawulu kweyamaHeberu 13:1, 7, 17. Eminyakeni yakamuva abanye ababeyishiyile inhlangano babona ubufakazi bokuthi isibusiso sikaJehova sikuyo futhi bacela ukubuya. Nokho, kunabanye abahlala bezahlukanisile kwaze kwaba ngu-1989 lapho iNdikimba Ebusayo ithumela incwadi yomusa eyayibhalelwe “Labo Abafisa Ukukhulekela UJehova Nokumkhonza Ngobunye.” Leyo ncwadi yagxila eziprofethweni ezinjengesikaZakariya 8:20, 21 no-Isaya 60:22, ezigcwalisekayo manje. Sinibhalela ngenjongo yokunikhuthaza ukuba ninikeze ubufakazi besifiso senu sokusebenza ngokubambisana nenhlangano kaJehova ebonakalayo njengoba imiswe emhlabeni wonke futhi njengoba ikhona nasezweni lakini. Lesi sifiso eninaso esihle ningasibonisa ngokwamukela abazalwane esibakhethile. Bakulungele ukuhlela ukuba nifundelwe le ncwadi noma banifundele yona. Ningathemba ngokugcwele ukuthi bagunyazwe yithi abazalwane abafika kini baveze le ncwadi. Kuyilungelo labo ukuba baninxuse ukuba nibuyele emhlanjini owodwa ningabe nisazihlukanisa.—Johane 10:16.”
Lesi senzo seNdikimba Ebusayo senza lukhulu ekulungiseni umonakalo owenziwa ukuhlasela kukaSathane kobuqili emabandleni ngesikhathi engakwazi ukuxhumana ngokukhululeka nayo yonke inhlangano kaJehova ebonakalayo.
Ukuhlela Nokuqeqeshela Inkonzo Eyengeziwe
Ngemva kokudedelwa koFakazi ejele ngo-1960, kwakusekuningi okwakusadinga ukwenziwa ngokuqondene nokushumayela izindaba ezinhle emazweni aseCzech. Ukuze kwenziwe, kwakubalulekile ukuhlela okufanele nokuqeqeshwa okuhle. Ukuyifinyelela le migomo ngaphansi kwezimo ezinzima ezazikhona ngaleso sikhathi kwanikeza ubufakazi obanelisayo besivikelo sikaJehova sothando nesibusiso sakhe.
Igxathu elikhulu lentuthuko enhlanganweni engokwasezulwini laliwukumiswa kweSikole Senkonzo SoMbuso ngo-1961 ukuze kunikezwe ababonisi abajikelezayo nezinceku zamabandla (manje ezibizwa ngokuthi ababonisi abengamele) ukuqeqeshwa okukhethekile okusekelwe eBhayibhelini. UKarel Plzák, wasePrague, owayekhonza njengombonisi wesifunda ngaleso sikhathi, ukhumbula ikilasi lokuqala. Lalizoqhutshelwa ngaseKarlovy Vary. Ngaphansi kombuso wobushiqela, uhulumeni ulihlolisisa ngokucophelela iposi. Ngakho eCzechoslovakia ababonisi abajikelezayo baba umzila obalulekile ekuxhumaneni okungokwasezulwini. Ukuhambela ngakunye kombonisi wesifunda kwakuba isikhathi esilindelwe ngamehlo abomvu. Ngezinye izikhathi uma umsebenzi uhamba kahle, kwakulula ukulibala ukuthi oFakazi BakaJehova babesavinjelwe. Abazalwane ababeqondisa bakhuthaza ukuba konke okwakwenziwa kwenziwe ngokuhluzeka kwengqondo. Kodwa abanye zazingabenelisi izindlela ezazisetshenziswa. Babefuna imiphumela esheshayo.
Ngelinye ilanga ngo-1963 epaki lasePrague, abazalwane ababili baqoqa isixuku sabantu. Omunye walaba bazalwane wagibela phezu kwebhentshi waqala ukushumayela. Ingabe Inkululeko Yokukhulekela Iseduze?
Unyaka ka-1968 waba nezinguquko ezingalindelekile. AmaKhomanisi ayezibiza ngokuthi ashisekela izinguquko athatha izintambo futhi aqala ukusebenzela ukubusa ngentando yeningi. Abantu bazijabulela lezi zinguquko, futhi kwakukhulunywa “ngesimiso somusa nesobungane sokusebenzela uhulumeni.”

“Iminyaka Eyizinkulungwane Eziyisithupha Yokuba Khona Kwabantu”
Ngo-1969 INqabayokulinda yesiCzech yaqala ukunyathelisa uchungechunge lwezihloko ezisekelwe encwadini ethi Ukuphila OkuPhakade NgeNkululeko Yamadodana KaNkulunkulu. UMichal Fazekaš, owabhapathizwa ngo-1936 futhi waboshwa izikhathi eziningana, wehlelwa yilokhu okulandelayo: “Ngo-1975, ngaphinde ngagwetshwa. Kulokhu isigwebo sami salengiswa. Kodwa kuyathakazelisa ukuthi ngawo lowo nyaka, lapho kugujwa iminyaka engu-30 kwaphela iMpi Yezwe II, impesheni yami yanyuswa kuthiwa umvuzo wokuthi ‘ngasebenzela ukukhinyabeza amabutho oMbusi WaseJalimane’ ngoba ngangithunyelwe ekamu lokuhlushwa ngenxa yokungathathi hlangothi kobuKristu.”
Ukudabula Amasimu Amabandla
Ngo-February 1, 1976, kwamiswa ikomiti yezwe enamalungu amahlanu eyayizonakekela umsebenzi woFakazi BakaJehova eCzechoslovakia. Yayakhiwa u-Ondřej Kadlec, uMichal Moskal, uBohumil Müller (umqondisi), u-Anton Murín, u-Eduard Sobička.

Ukuya Kwamanye Amasimu
Ngemva kokuba amabandla esabelwe insimu okokuqala, lawo ayengase akwazi ukusebenza izindawo ezingabelwe muntu acelwa ukuba enze kanjalo. Kwakuthinta inhliziyo ukuzimisela kwamabandla amaningi ukwamukela lezi zabelo ezengeziwe, ikakhulu amabandla aseduze kwase-Ostrava, eMoravia. Amanye kwakudingeka ahambe amakhilomitha angu-200 ngaphambi kokufika ensimini.
Wawuhlelwa kanjani umsebenzi? Abazalwane babehamba impelasonto yonke; basuke ngoMgqibelo ekuseni babuye ngeSonto ntambama. Izimoto zazihlale zigcwele, futhi abazalwane babezikhokhela bona izindleko zabo. Abamemezeli babengase bathathe lolo hambo njalo ngemva kwesonto.
Abamemezeli bakhuthazwa ukuba benze sengathi bayizivakashi ezibuka indawo, bashiye imoto ngaphandle kwedolobha elincane, bahambe edolobheni baye ngandawonye, baqale ingxoxo yobungane, kancane kancane iyele ekufakazeni, kuthi lapho kuba nokuphikiswa, babuyele esihlokweni ababeqale ngaso bese bephetha ngomusa. Esikhathini esiyiminyaka eyishumi, kwakuqabukela kube nezinkinga.

Okuhlangenwe nakho kwethu kulolu hlobo lwenkonzo kwakumangalisa. Sasiphayona kanjalo njalo ngonyaka futhi sasithunyelwa ezindaweni ezihlukahlukene njalo nje.”
Ngezinye izikhathi lolo hambo lokuphayona lwalubayisa ezindaweni ezikude. “Mfowethu, kunendingeko eBulgaria! Uyakwazi ukukhuluma isiRashiya ngakho uyakufanela lo msebenzi.” Watshelwa lokho umzalwane wasePrague ekupheleni kwawo-1970. Yena nomkakhe bavuma ukuya eBulgaria ngezikhathi ezithile, ngezinye izikhathi baze baye kabili ngonyaka, futhi baqhubeka benza kanjalo iminyaka engu-13.
Wawungenele yini umsebenzi ekhaya njengoba abamemezeli baseCzech kwadingeka baye eBulgaria, ezimweni ezinzima nakakhulu? Wawumningi umsebenzi eCzechoslovakia, kodwa sasiqinile nesifiso sokusiza nomaphi lapho kwakudingeka khona.
Umzalwane wasePrague owahlanganyela kulowo msebenzi ukhuluma ngensimu yaseBulgaria ngalezo zinsuku: “Abantu baseBulgaria bangabantu abanomusa kakhulu ngokwemvelo. Lokho kwasenza sasondelana nabo. Ngokuhamba kwesikhathi sasiqonda isimo sabo. Iqiniso babelihlanganyela namalungu emikhaya yabo ikakhulu. Babengakaze bacabange ukuthi bangaya kubantu emigwaqweni. Ngesinye isikhathi lapho ngabelwe ukuba ngiqhube iSikhumbuso eSofia, ngakusebenzisa ngokunenzuzo ukuba khona kwabamemezeli abaningana. Sisebenzisa okuhlangenwe nakho nemiboniso, sabonisa abamemezeli indlela ‘ephephe’ ngokwengeziwe yokufakaza. Kwakubalulekile ukungasho ukuthi, ‘Ngitadisha iBhayibheli,’ kodwa kwakumelwe uqale ingxoxo ngezinto ezivamile, kancane kancane uyele ngaseBhayibhelini. Sasingase sithi, ‘Ngizwe endaweni ethile ukuthi iBhayibheli lithi . . . ’ Abamemezeli bayamukela ngezandla ezimhlophe le ndlela entsha yokufakaza, futhi isigijimi ngoNkulunkulu saqala ukukapakela nakwabanye abantu abangabajwayele.”
Umsebenzi Wentshiseko Ucasula Izikhulu

Ibandla laseNejdek, eduze kwaseKarlovy Vary, yilona eladonsa ukunaka kwezikhulu zezombangazwe namaphoyisa. Bashushiselwa Ukudumisa UJesu Kristu
Kwakunzima ukufihlela amaphoyisa amaKhomanisi usuku lweSikhumbuzo sokufa kukaKristu. UBožena Pětníková, owayehlala ePrague, usikhumbuza esinye isenzakalo esinjalo: “Ngalezo zinsuku babembalwa abazalwane emabandleni, ngakho-ke odade bababelwa ukuba baqhube imihlangano emizini. Abe esesixosha, kwathi esiteshini samaphoyisa sendawo, kwadingeka ngisayine ukuthi bengiqhuba iSikhumbuzo.”
Ngemva kweminyaka engu-12, ngo-1987, kwezinye izindawo zaseBohemia, amaPhoyisa KaHulumeni abopha abazalwane abaningi ababegubha iSikhumbuzo. Ayefuna kakhulu ukwazi ukuthi iSikhumbuzo sasigujelwephi nokuthi ubani owayenikeze inkulumo. Ekupheleni kweSikhumbuzo kwenye indawo, amaphoyisa ababona bonke ababekhona, umzalwane oyedwa waboshwa futhi waphenywa ngemibuzo. Kwenye indawo futhi, odade abathathu bamangalelwa ngokuthi bayizigebengu, isizathu kwathiwa babekade bevakashela owesifazane othile “befunda izincwadi zehlelo lenkolo elivaliwe elibizwa ngokuthi oFakazi BakaJehova.”
Omunye udade, uMiluše Pavlová, wagwetshwa ukuba agqunywe ejele lasePardubice, hhayi ngoba ebanjwe enza okuthile, kodwa ngoba wayesolwa. Isizathu sokugwetshwa kwakhe sasithi: “Umbono wongqondongqondo uthi ummangalelwa ubehambisa futhi ekopisha izincwadi ezivinjelwe. Inkantolo yokudlulisa amacala isamukele isinqumo sokuqala, yanezela, ‘Ugwetshwe ngenjongo yokumyekisa lo msebenzi futhi nabanye bawuyeke.’”
Ukulungiselela Ukudla Okungokomoya
Ukulungiselela izincwadi zokutadisha iBhayibheli kwakwenziwa ngokucophelela okukhulu phakathi nenkathi yobuKhomanisi. UFakazi ovamile wayengazi ukuthi zihunyushwa kanjani, zinyatheliswe kanjani bese zitholakala kanjani ukuze zisetshenziswe. Abahumushi nabahlola umsebenzi, kanye nababenyathelisa futhi behlanganisa izincwadi, babengaziwa yiningi.
Umhumushi wayebhala isihloko se-Nqabayokulinda ngomshini ngolimi lwesiCzech, asidlulisele kozosihlola, angaphinde asibone kuze kube semihlanganweni yebandla. Konke kwakuhunyushwa ngale ndlela, kuhlanganise izincwadi nezincwajana. Noma kunjalo, kwakuhunyushwa kahle. Umagazini i-Phaphama! wawungahunyushwa ngaleso sikhathi.
Ngisho nezindikimba zabadala zazingazi ukuthi obani abahumushayo emabandleni abo. Ngezinye izikhathi uma umsebenzi wokuhumusha umningi, yayincipha inkonzo yasensimini yalaba bazalwane, abadala bese bezama ukubasiza, becabanga ukuthi mhlawumbe sebeyaphola ngokomoya. Kodwa abahumushi nabahlola umsebenzi babengadaluli ukuthi benzani.

UJuraj Kaminský, waseBandleni LaseNejdek, uchaza isimo abazalwane ababhekana naso. Uthi: “Ngesikhathi abazalwane sebesesimweni sokuzithengela umshini wokubhala, kwakuwumshini ogugile. Indoda eyabadayisela wona yawumba emgodini bebuka. Kamuva, bathola izindlela zokuthenga imishini emisha nemishini yokukhulisa izithombe.”
Kwakuhileleke abantu abahlukahlukene ekukhiqizweni kwezincwadi. Odade abaningi, abanye abangaphezu kuka-70 ubudala, bafunda ukubhala ngomshini. Abazalwane baze bakwazi ngisho nokushushumbisa izincwadi emajele. Ngo-1958, baqala ukunyathelisa INqabayokulinda encane enezithombe. Ngo-1972 uHerbert Adamy wacelwa ukuba asize ekukhiqizeni izincwadi. Wabelwa ukuba aqondise ukukhiqizwa kwezincwadi kulo lonke elaseCzechoslovakia. Kusukela namuhla babhalisiwe.”

Inani lababekhona kulo Mhlangano Wezizwe ‘Wabathandi Benkululeko KaNkulunkulu’ lalingu-74 587. Abangu-29 119 kulaba babevela eCzechoslovakia, abangu-26 716 bevela eJalimane, abangu-12 895 bevela ePoland. Ezinye izihambeli ezingu-5 857 zazivela emazweni angu-36.
