Ingabe Udla Kahle Ngokomoya?

“Ukudla kahle kuyisidingo somuntu esiyisisekelo ukuzedlula zonke. . . . Ngaphandle kokudla okwanele, singafa.”—Food and Nutrition.

LELO qiniso eliyisisekelo liboniswa ngokucacile yimizimba ezacile yabesilisa, abesifazane nezingane ezilambile ezincishwa lesi “sidingo somuntu esiyisisekelo ukuzedlula zonke.” Abanye bayakwazi ukuhlangabezana nalesi sidingo ngezinga elithile kodwa bayaqhubeka bengondlekile kahle ngezinga eliyingozi. Nokho, abaningi abangase bakwazi ukudla kahle ngokuvamile baneliswa ukudla okungenamsoco ngempela. “Ukudla,” kusho i-Healthy Eating, “kubonakala kungenye yezinto esinazo esetshenziswa kabi kunazo zonke.”

Kungokufanayo nangokudla okungokomoya—iqiniso elitholakala eZwini likaNkulunkulu, iBhayibheli. Abanye abantu bantula ngisho nokudla okungokomoya okuyisisekelo kakhulu; bayalamba ngokomoya. Abanye bamane nje bakushaye indiva ukudla okungokomoya okutholakalayo. Kuthiwani ngawe? Ingabe wena ngokwakho udla kahle ngokomoya? Noma ingabe kungenzeka ukuthi uyazincisha ukudla okungokomoya? Kubalulekile ukuba uthembeke kulendaba ngoba ukudla okungokomoya sikudinga ngisho nangaphezu kokuba sidinga ukudla okungokwenyama.—Mathewu 4:4.

Ukudla Okukwenza Ukhule Ngokomoya

I-Food and Nutrition, incwadi exoxa ngokubaluleka kokudla ngokufanele, isinika izizathu ezinhle ezintathu zokudla kahle. Esinye siwukuthi sidinga ukudla “ukuze kuthuthukise ukukhula futhi kubuyisele amangqamuzana omzimba alahlekayo.” Bewazi yini ukuthi usuku ngalunye lokuphila kwakho, amangqamuzana omzimba wakho ayizigidi eziyinkulungwane ayawohloka futhi kudingeke amanye? Ukukhula kahle nokuvuselelwa komzimba kudinga ukudla okunomsoco.

Lokho kunjalo nangokomoya. Ngokwesibonelo, lapho umphostoli uPawulu ebhalela ibandla lase-Efesu, wagcizelela indlela umKristu ngamunye adinga ngayo ukudla okungokomoya okunomsoco ukuze abe “indoda ekhule ngokugcwele.” (Efesu 4:11-13) Lapho sizondla ngokufanele ngokudla okungokomoya okunomsoco, asibe sisaba njengezingane ezibuthakathaka, sihluleke ukuzinakekela, sibe izisulu zazo zonke izinhlobo zezingozi. (Efesu 4:14) Kunalokho, sikhula sibe abantu abadala abaqinile, abakwazi ukubhekana nempi enzima yokholo ngoba “sondliwa ngamazwi okholo.”—1 Thimothewu 4:6.

Ingabe kunjalo ngawe? Ingabe uye wakhula ngokomoya? Noma ingabe useyingane engokomoya—engavikelekile, encike ngokuphelele kwabanye nengakwazi ukuyithwala ngokuphelele imithwalo yemfanelo yobuKristu? Ngokuqondakalayo, bambalwa kithi abangasho ngokunganqikazi ukuthi bayizingane ngokomoya, kodwa kuyafaneleka ukuzihlola ngobuqotho. Amanye amaKristu agcotshiwe ayenjalo ngekhulu lokuqala leminyaka. Nakuba kwase kufanele abe “abafundisi” abakwazi nabafisa ukufundisa abanye lokho iZwi likaNkulunkulu elikushoyo, umphostoli uPawulu wabhala: “Nisadinga futhi othile ukuba anifundise kusukela ekuqaleni izinto zokucathula zamazwi angcwele kaNkulunkulu; futhi senibe njengabadinga ubisi, hhayi ukudla okuqinile.” Uma ufuna ukukhula ngokomoya, hlakulela isifiso sokudla okunomsoco nokuqinile. Unganeliswa ukudla kwezingane okungokomoya!—Heberu 5:12.

Lokhu kudla okuqinile okungokomoya siyakudinga futhi ukuze silungise noma yimuphi umonakalo owenziwa izilingo zansuku zonke esibhekana nazo kulelizwe elinobutha. Lezi zilingo zingawanciphisa amandla ethu angokomoya. Kodwa uNkulunkulu angawavuselela lawo mandla. UPawulu wathi: “Asiyeki, kodwa ngisho noma umuntu esinguye ngaphandle ewohloka, ngokuqinisekile umuntu esinguye ngaphakathi wenziwa musha usuku nosuku.” (2 Korinte 4:16) ‘Senziwa kanjani basha usuku nosuku’? Ngokwengxenye, ngokuzondla njalo ngeZwi likaNkulunkulu ngesifundo somuntu siqu neseqembu semiBhalo nezincwadi ezisekelwe eBhayibhelini.

Ukudla Okunika Amandla Angokomoya

Ukudla kuyadingeka futhi ukuze “kukhiqize ukushisa namandla.” Ukudla kunikeza imizimba yethu amandla ukuze isebenze kahle. Uma singadli kahle, siyontula amandla. Ukuntuleka kokusansimbi ekudleni kwethu kungasenza sizizwe sikhathele futhi sicobekile. Ingabe leyo indlela ozizwa ngayo ngezinye izikhathi lapho kuziwa emsebenzini ongokomoya? Ingabe ukuthola kunzima ukwenza imisebenzi ehambisana nokuba umKristu? Abanye abathi bangabalandeli bakaJesu Kristu bayakhathala ekwenzeni okuhle futhi bantula amandla okwenza imisebenzi yobuKristu. (Jakobe 2:17, 26) Uma ubona ukuthi kuye kwaba njalo ngawe, ikhambi ngokwezinga elikhulu lingase libe ukuthuthukisa ukudla kwakho okungokomoya noma ukwandisa isilinganiso sokudla okungokomoya okudlayo.—Isaya 40:29-31; Galathiya 6:9.

Ungayengelwa ekubeni uhlakulele imikhuba emibi yokudla ukudla okungokomoya. Enye yezindlela zokukhohlisa uSathane aye wayisebenzisa kakhulu emakhulwini eminyaka kuye kwaba ukwenza abantu bakholelwe ukuthi abakudingi ukufunda iBhayibheli nokungenisa ulwazi olunembile oluvela kulo. Usebenzisa isu elidala elalisetshenziswa amabutho ahlaselayo ukuze anqobe amadolobha ezitha—ukuwancisha ukudla nokuwenza alambe aze acele umaluju. Kodwa uye wayithuthukisa lendlela. Uyengela labo “abahlaselayo” ekuzilambiseni kuyilapho bezungezwe inala yokudla okungokomoya okunempilo. Akumangalisi ukuthi abaningi kangaka baba izisulu zokuhlasela kwakhe!—Efesu 6:10-18.

Ukudla Okusenza Siphile Ngokomoya

I-Food and Nutrition ithi isizathu sesithathu sokuba sidinge ukudla “ukunakekela impilo yomzimba . . . nokuvimbela izifo.” Izinzuzo ezingokwempilo zokudla okunomsoco azisheshi ukubonakala. Lapho siqeda ukudla ukudla okunomsoco, akuvamile ukuba sicabange, ‘Lokho kuye kwayizuzisa kakhulu inhliziyo yami (noma izinso zami noma imisipha yami, njalonjalo).’ Kodwa zama ukuhlala ungadli isikhathi eside, futhi imiphumela iba sobala empilweni yakho. Miphi imiphumela? “Umphumela ovame kakhulu,” kusho enye incwadi yezokwelapha, “awumuhle: ukuhluleka ukukhula, ukuhluleka ukulwa nezifo eziwubala, ukuntula amandla noma umdlandla.” U-Israyeli wasendulo waba nohlobo olufanayo lwempilo ebuthaka ngokomoya isikhathi esithile. Umprofethi u-Isaya wathi ngaye: “Lonke ikhanda liyagula, nayo yonke inhliziyo ibuthakathaka. Kusukela ematheni onyawo kuze kube-sekhanda akukho okuphelele.”—Isaya 1:5, 6.

Ukudla okungokomoya okunomsoco kusinika amandla okulwa nobuthakathaka obungokomoya obunjalo nemiphumela yokugula okungokomoya. Ulwazi oluvela kuNkulunkulu lusisiza ukuba sihlale sisesimweni esihle ngokomoya—uma sizondla ngalo! UJesu Kristu wakhuluma ngendlela iningi labantu osukwini lwakhe elingazange lifunde ngayo esimweni sokunganaki sokhokho balo endabeni yokuzondla ngokufanele ngokomoya. Nalo lenqaba ukuzondla ngamaqiniso ayewafundisa. Waba yini umphumela? UJesu wathi: “Inhliziyo yalababantu iye yaba lukhuni, nangezindlebe zabo bezwile bangasabela, futhi baye bacimeza amehlo abo; ukuze bangalokothi babone ngamehlo abo bezwe nangezindlebe zabo futhi bathole umqondo wako ngezinhliziyo zabo bese bephenduka, ngibaphulukise.” (Mathewu 13:15) Iningi alizange lizuze emandleni aphulukisayo eZwi likaNkulunkulu. Lahlala ligula ngokomoya. Ngisho namaKristu athile agcotshiwe aba ‘buthakathaka futhi axhwala.’ (1 Korinte 11:30) Kwangathi singelokothe seye ukudla okungokomoya uNkulunkulu akulungiselelayo.—IHubo 107:20.

Ukungcola Okungokomoya

Ngaphandle kosongo lokulamba ngokomoya, kunenye ingozi okudingeka siyiqaphele—uhlobo lokudla esiludlayo lungase lube olungcolile. Ukwamukela izimfundiso ezingcoliswe imibono eyingozi yobudemoni kungaba ushevu njengoba nje kungaba njalo ngokudla ukudla okungokwenyama okuye kwangcoliswa amagciwane noma kwafakwa ubuthi. (Kolose 2:8) Akulula ngaso sonke isikhathi ukubona ukudla okunobuthi. “Ukudla,” kusho enye incwadi, “ngezinye izikhathi kungabonakala kunempilo ngokuphelele kodwa kube kunamagciwane abangela izifo.” Ngakho senza kahle ukuhlola umthombo wokudla kwethu okungokomfanekiso, sikhumbula ukuthi ezinye izincwadi, njengezincwadi zezihlubuki, kungase kube okungcoliswe izimfundiso okungezona ezingokomBhalo namafilosofi. Abanye abakhiqizi bokudla baze basebenzise nezigqebezana ezidukisayo ukuze bakhohlise abathengi babo ngokuqukethwe imikhiqizo yabo. Ngokuqinisekile singalindela ukuba uSathane, umkhohlisi omkhulu, enze okufanayo. Ngakho-ke, qiniseka ukuthi uthola ukudla okunjalo okungokomfanekiso emthonjeni onokwethenjelwa, ukuze uhlale ‘uphilile okholweni.’—Thithu 1:9, 13.

UThomas Adams, umshumayeli wekhulu le-17, wathi ngabantu besikhathi sakhe: “Baye bamba amathuna abo ngamazinyo abo.” Ngamanye amazwi, lokho abakudla kwababulala. Qiniseka ukuthi lokho okudlayo ngokomoya akukubulali. Funa ukudla okungokomoya okunomsoco. “Niyichithelani imali kukho okungesiso isinkwa, nenzuzo yenu kukho okunganelisiyo, na?” kubuza uJehova uNkulunkulu lapho labo ababethi bangabantu bakhe bephendukela kubafundisi nakubaprofethi bamanga. “Ngilaleleni nokungilalela, nidle okuhle, umphefumulo wenu ujabule ngamanoni. Bekani izindlebe, nize kimi, nizwe, uyakuphila umphefumulo wenu.”—Isaya 55:2, 3; qhathanisa noJeremiya 2:8, 13.

Inala Yokudla Okungokomoya

Ngokuqinisekile akuntuleki ukudla okungokomoya okunomsoco. Njengoba uJesu Kristu aprofetha, manje unesigaba sesigqila esikholekile nesiqondayo esimatasa silungiselela noma ubani ofunayo “ukudla ngesikhathi esifanele.” (Mathewu 24:45) Ngomprofethi u-Isaya, uJehova wathembisa: “Bhekani, izinceku zami ziyakudla, kepha nina niyakulamba. . . . Izinceku zami ziyakujabula ngokwenama kwenhliziyo.” Empeleni, uthembisa idili kulabo abafuna ukudla. “UJehova-Sebawoti uyakwenzela abantu bonke idili lokukhulupheleyo . . . idili lewayini elinenhlese, okukhulupheleyo okunomnkantsha.”—Isaya 25:6; 65:13, 14.

Nokho, cabanga ngalokhu: Singalamba size sife edilini! Nakuba sizungezwe ukudla, sisengagcina singondlekile ngokuyingozi uma singazenzi silangazelele ukudla okunye kwalokho kudla. IzAga 26:15 zinikeza lencazelo engokoqobo: “Ivila liyafaka isandla salo esitsheni; kuyamkhathaza ukusibuyisela emlonyeni walo.” Yeka isimo esidabukisayo! Nathi ngokufanayo singakuvilaphela kakhulu ukuzikhandla esifundweni somuntu siqu seZwi likaNkulunkulu nezincwadi ezisekelwe eBhayibhelini eziklanyelwe ukusisiza sidle ukudla okungokomoya. Noma singaba abakhathele kakhulu ukuba silungiselele noma sibe nengxenye emihlanganweni yebandla lobuKristu.

Imikhuba Emihle Yokudla

Khona-ke, sinazo zonke izizathu zokuhlakulela imikhuba emihle yokudla ukudla okungokomoya. Nokho, iqiniso liwukuthi abaningi bakudla kancane ukudla kwabo okungokomoya, abanye baze bazincishe ngokuphelele. Bangafana nabantu abangakuboni ukubaluleka kokudla ngokufanele kuze kube yilapho bebhekana nemiphumela kamuva ekuphileni. I-Healthy Eating inikeza isizathu esingenza sibe abangayinaki imikhuba yethu yokudla, nakuba sazi ukuthi ukudla kahle kubalulekile ukuze siphile: “Inkinga iwukuthi akukho ukuwohloka okusheshayo kwempilo [okuwumphumela wemikhuba emibi yokudla], awukho umphumela ongazelelwe ofana nalowo olandela ukweqa umgwaqo ngokunganaki. Kunalokho, kungase kube nokuwohloka kwempilo yomuntu okuza kancane nokunyenyayo, izifo zingase zingene kalula, amathambo angase abe buthakathaka kakhudlwana, ukuphola kwezilonda nokululama ezifweni kungase kungasheshi.”

Ezimweni ezimbi kakhulu umuntu angase afane nowesifazane osemusha ophethwe i-anorexia nervosa. Uzenza akholelwe ukuthi udinga ukudla okuncane, ukuthi uphile kahle, naphezu kweqiniso lokuthi uyazaca. Ekugcineni uphelelwa isifiso sokudla ngokuphelele. “Kuyisimo esiyingozi,” kusho incwadi yezokwelapha. Ngani? “Nakuba kungavamile ukuba isiguli sibulawe indlala ngokoqobo siba esingondlekile kakhulu futhi singase sinqotshwe ukugula ngokuvamile obekungaba ubala.”

Omunye wesifazane ongumKristu wavuma: “Kungithathe iminyaka ngilwa nokwazi isidingo sokulungiselela imihlangano njalo nokuba nesifundo somuntu siqu kodwa angikaze ngikwazi ukukwenza.” Ekugcineni walwenza ushintsho ukuze abe umfundi omuhle weZwi likaNkulunkulu, kodwa kuphela lapho esekuqaphela ngokugcwele ukuphuthuma kwesimo sakhe.

Khona-ke, lalela iseluleko somphostoli uPetru. Yibani “njengezinsana ezisanda kuzalwa,” futhi ‘nakhe ukulangazelela ubisi olungonakalisiwe olungolwezwi, ukuze ngalo nikhulele ensindisweni.’ (1 Petru 2:2) Yebo, “yakha ukulangazelela”—hlakulela isifiso esinamandla—sokugcwalisa ingqondo nenhliziyo yakho ngolwazi lukaNkulunkulu. Abantu asebekhulile ngokomoya nabo badinga ukuhlala benakho lokho kulangazelela. Ungavumeli ukuba ukudla okungokomoya kube ‘enye yezinto onazo esetshenziswa kabi kunazo zonke.’ Yidla kahle ngokomoya, futhi uzuze ngokugcwele kuwo wonke “amazwi amahle” atholakala eZwini likaNkulunkulu, iBhayibheli.—2 Thimothewu 1:13, 14.
