Ngokuvamile ucabanga ukuthi impande yomuthi noma yesitshalo iza kuqala kunesiqu noma amagatsha. Ngakho kungase kubonakale sengathi uJese (noma indodana yakhe uDavide) kungathiwa bayimpande uJesu agcina evele kuyo. Nokho, u-Isaya 11:10 wabikezela ukuthi uMesiya ozayo wayezoba “impande kaJese,” futhi eyabaseRoma 15:12 yasebenzisa lesisiprofetho kuJesu Kristu. Ulimi oluku-Isaya 37:31 nakuMalaki 4:1 lusekelwe ephuzwini lokuthi amagatsha (nezithelo emagatsheni amancane) kuphila ngezimpande. Lokhu kuyisihluthulelo sokuqonda ukuthi kukanjani uJesu ‘eyimpande kaJese’ ‘nempande kaDavide.’
Ngendlela engokwenyama, uJese noDavide babengokhokho bakaJesu; babeyizimpande, yena eyihlumela noma igatsha. U-Isaya 11:1 wathi ngoMesiya ozayo: “Kuyakuvela ihlumela esiqwini sikaJese, kuphume igatsha ezimpandeni zakhe.” Ngokufanayo, kusAmbulo 22:16, uJesu uzibiza ngokuthi ‘uyinzalo kaDavide.’ Kodwa ubuye azibize ngokuthi ‘uyimpande kaDavide.’ Kungani?
Enye indlela uJesu ‘ayimpande’ kaJese nekaDavide ngayo iwukuthi ngaye uhlu lwabo lozalo luhlala lukhona. Akekho namuhla umuntu ongabonisa ukuthi ungowesizwe sakwaLevi, esakwaDani, noma ngisho esakwaJuda, kodwa singaqiniseka ngokuthi uhlu lukaJese nolukaDavide lusekhona ngenxa yokuthi uJesu uyaphila manje ezulwini.—Mathewu 1:1-16; Roma 6:9.
UJesu futhi wathola isikhundla sokuba iNkosi yasezulwini. (Luka 1:32, 33; 19:12, 15; 1 Korinte 15:25) Lokhu kuyavumelana ngisho nanokuhlobana kwakhe nokhokho bakhe. Esiprofethweni, uDavide wabiza uJesu ngokuthi uyiNkosi yakhe.—IHubo 110:1; IzEnzo 2:34-36.
Okokugcina, uJesu Kristu unikwe amandla njengoMahluleli. Phakathi neMinyaka Eyinkulungwane ezayo, izinzuzo zesihlengo sikaJesu ziyodlulela kuJese nakuDavide. Ukuphila kwabo emhlabeni ngalesosikhathi kuyoxhomeka kuJesu, oyoba “uYise ongunaphakade.”—Isaya 9:6.
Ngakho-ke, nakuba uJesu avela ohlwini lukaJese noDavide, lokho aseyikho nasazokwenza kumenza afaneleke ukubizwa ngokuthi “impande kaJese” nokuthi “impande kaDavide.”
