Ngokwesibonelo, abathi indalo yathatha izinsuku ezimbalwa ngokuvamile bathi indawo yonke yadalwa ngezinsuku eziyisithupha ezingokoqobo zamahora angu-24 eminyakeni engaba ngu-6 000 edlule. Ngalezi zimfundiso ezinje, balimelela kabi iBhayibheli, elithi uNkulunkulu wadala izulu nomhlaba “ekuqaleni”—esikhathini esithile esingashiwongo ngaphambi kokuba kuqale “izinsuku” zokudala ezicace ngokwengeziwe. Ukuhlolisisa Ubufakazi

Nokho, iBhayibheli aligcini nje ngokusiphendulela umbuzo othi ukhona yini ngempela uNkulunkulu. Lisifundisa negama lakhe, lichaze ubuntu bakhe, futhi lisitshele indlela aye wabonisa ngayo ukusikhathalela isintu phakathi nayo yonke le minyaka. Lembula ngisho nalokho asigcinele kona esikhathini esizayo. Kuzo zonke lezi zici, isayensi ayinamandla okusisiza sithole izimpendulo. Isisekelo Sezindinganiso Nezimiso Zokuziphatha
Ngokudabukisayo, umkhuba wesayensi esiwubona ulandelwa abathile namuhla kubonakala kuwukubukela phansi izimiso nezindinganiso zokuziphatha okuhle. Isazi sezinto eziphilayo uRichard Dawkins, esenqaba umqondo wokuba khona kukaNkulunkulu, sathi: “Lapho amandla emvelo eziqondisa wona nezici zofuzo zizandisa ngokwazo, abanye abantu bazolimala, abanye bazoba nenhlanhla, futhi ngeke uthole sizathu esizwakalayo sako, nanoma ibuphi ubulungisa.” Ingabe lokhu kukwenza ukhwantabale lapho ucabanga ngomhlaba? Awucabangi yini ukuthi umphakathi wabantu udinga umthetho obanika umvuzo abaziphatha kahle kodwa obajezisayo abenza okubi?
Yilokhu okuwumahluko omkhulu phakathi kombono weBhayibheli ngesintu nombono wokuziphendukela kwemvelo othi uNkulunkulu akekho. IZwi likaNkulunkulu ligcizelela ukuthi abantu banendawo ekhethekile endalweni; ukuziphendukela kwemvelo kuthi abantu bawumkhiqizo wezinqubo zemvelo ezazingaqondisiwe. IBhayibheli lifundisa ukuthi abantu benziwa ngomfanekiso kaNkulunkulu onobulungisa nothando futhi bangaziphatha kahle futhi bajabulele ukuphila; ukuziphendukela kwemvelo kona ngombono wako wokuthi kusinda ezinamandla, akukwazi ukuchaza ukuthi kungani umuntu enezimfanelo zothando futhi ekhathazeka ngenhlalakahle yabanye.
