Ukubhekana Ngenjabulo Nezwe Elimatasa

Abantu Abaningi Bayakwazi Ukubhekana Nezingcindezi Zokuphila, Kodwa Bambalwa Ababhekana Nazo Ngenjabulo. Lokho Kudinga Ukuhlakanipha Okukhethekile.

IVUMA lokhu, incwadi ethi The 24-Hour Society ithi: “Kudingeka sithuthukise ukuhlakanipha kokuvikela izidingo zomuntu nesimo sakhe ezweni lobuchwepheshe esilenzile.”

Ngokujabulisayo, ukuhlakanipha okusebenzayo kuyatholakala encwadini esakazwa kabanzi kunazo zonke emhlabeni—iZwi likaNkulunkulu, iBhayibheli. Njengoba laphefumulelwa nguMuntu oziqonda ngokuphelele izidingo zomuntu nesimo sakhe, iBhayibheli liqukethe izimiso okunesiqinisekiso sokuthi ziyaphumelela. Ake uzicabange uthatha iholidi uzohlala ethendeni izinsuku ezimbalwa. Ufuna ukunethezeka, ngakho uthatha ithende elikhulu nazo zonke izinto ongase uzicabange. Uthatha nenqola egcwele ifenisha, izinto zokupheka, isiqandisi, umshini ophathekayo wokuphehla ugesi, izibani, i-TV nezinye izinto eziningi kuhlanganise nokudla. Nokho, ukuhlela zonke lezi zinto kukuthathela amahora amaningi! Ngakho, uma liphela iholidi lakho, uchitha isikhathi esiningi upakisha—ingasaphathwa eyokubuyisela izinto ezindaweni zazo ekhaya. Uma ucabanga ngakho, uyabona ukuthi awuzange ube nesikhathi esanele sokujabulela iholidi lakho ethendeni! Uyazibuza ukuthi bekuwufanele yini wonke umzamo owenzile.

Ezigidini zabantu namuhla, ukuphila ngokwako kufana nalolo hambo lokuyohlala ethendeni. Bachitha isikhathi esiningi ngokweqile bethenga futhi belondoloza izinto ezibonakalayo ezingapheli leli zwe elisenza sikholelwe ukuthi siyazidinga ukuze sijabule. Ngokuphambene, uJesu Kristu wathi: “Ngisho nalapho umuntu enensada ukuphila kwakhe akuveli ezintweni anazo.” (Luka 12:15) Yebo, izinga lokuphila alilinganiswa ngomnotho wezinto ezibonakalayo. Eqinisweni, ingcebo ivame ukwenezela ukucindezeleka nokukhathazeka ekuphileni. UmShumayeli 5:12 uthi: “Ukusutha kocebileyo akumvumeli ukuba alale.”

Ngakho bhekisisa ngayinye yezinto onazo, bese uzibuza, ‘Ingabe ngiyayidinga ngempela le nto, noma imane nje iyaminyanisa? Ingabe yenza ukuphila kwami kube ngcono, noma intshontsha isikhathi esibalulekile?’ Isethulo sencwadi kaLeonie McMahon ethi Why Am I So Tired?, siyaphawula: “Ukusungulwa kwezinto ezihlukahlukene zikagesi, ezazihloselwe ukuqeda umsebenzi wasendlini ongathandeki, kuye kwaphumela ekubeni inkosikazi yekhaya iyosebenza ngaphandle, ukuze izithenge futhi ikhokhele ukuzilondoloza.”

Uma wenza ukuphila kwakho kube lula, ubekela eceleni isikhathi ozosichitha nomkhaya wakho, abangane noma uwedwa. Isikhathi esinjalo sibalulekile ukuze ujabule. Ungabi njengalabo abathola sekwephuzile ekuphileni ukuthi abangane nomkhaya babaluleke kakhulu—futhi bayajabulisa—kunemali nempahla. Ngabantu kuphela abangakuthanda. Abantu ababeka izinto ezinjalo kuqala balulaza ukuphila kwabo futhi bagcina benganelisekile noma belusizi.—1 Thimothewu 6:6-10.

Lawula Isikhathi Futhi Ubeke Izinto Eziza Kuqala

Kwezinye izimo ukulawula isikhathi kufana nokwenza uhlelo lokusebenzisa imali. Uma uzama ukumpintsha izinto eziningi kakhulu emahoreni ambalwa onawo, awuphili ngokuvumelana nesikhathi onaso. Ukuphila okunjalo nakanjani kubangela ukukhungatheka, ukucindezeleka nokukhathala. Ngakho funda ukubeka izinto eziza kuqala.

Okokuqala, bheka ukuthi ziyini izinto ezibalulekile, bese uzinika isikhathi esanele. KumaKristu, ukuphishekela izinto ezingokomoya kuza kuqala ngaso sonke isikhathi. (Mathewu 6:31-34) Uma wenza izinto ezibalulekile ngokuxhamazela noma ungazenzisisi, kuvame ukulandela izinkinga ezingathi sína. Ngakho, kungase kudingeke ususe noma yini edla isikhathi kodwa engenanzuzo.

Uma ubeka izinto eziza kuqala, cabangela isidingo sakho sesikhathi esincane sokuba wedwa—isikhathi sokuzindla okwakhayo nesikhathi sokuzivuselela. Iphephabhuku i-Psychology Today lithi: “Isikhathi esanele sokuba wedwa sikunikeza ukuqabuleka okudingayo kuleli zwe elisheshayo. . . . Isikhathi sokuba wedwa sivuselela ukuphila kwakho.” Abantu abamatasa kakhulu abangenaso isikhathi sokuzindla bangaba nesimo sengqondo esingazinzile ngokuphila.

Ukuthobeka Nengokomoya

Ukuthobeka nengokomoya kuyizinto ezimbili ezingcono kakhulu ongaba nazo ukuze uphile ukuphila okunenjabulo nokulinganiselayo. Ukuthobeka kubalulekile ngoba kukusiza ukuba ugweme ukwamukela imisebenzi nemithwalo yemfanelo ongenakukwazi ukuyifeza. Uma uthobekile, uyokwazi ukuthi kunini lapho kufanele wenqabe khona ukusebenza isikhathi esengeziwe noma eminye imisebenzi engaminyanisa izinto ezibaluleke kakhulu. Abantu abathobekile abanawo umona ngalokho abanye abakwenzayo noma abanakho; futhi ngenxa yalokho, bavame ukwaneliseka. Ukuthobeka okuqotho kuyisici esingokomoya, esinye isihluthulelo esibalulekile ukuze sikwazi ukulawula ukuphila kwethu.—Mika 6:8; 1 Johane 2:15-17.

Ingokomoya elisekelwe olwazini olunembile lweBhayibheli likwenza ube umuntu oqondayo nohlakaniphe kakhulu—umuntu ongenakukhohliswa izincazelo zempumelelo yezwe eziwuwangala. Ulalela iseluleko esihlakaniphile esikweyoku-1 Korinte 7:31: “[Labo] abasebenzisa izwe babe njengalabo abangalisebenzisi ngokugcwele; ngoba isimo salelizwe siyashintsha.” AmaKristu ‘asebenzisa izwe’ uma ezinakekela ngokwezinto ezibonakalayo wona nemikhaya yawo, kodwa awalivumeli leli zwe ukuba liwashwabadele. Ayazi ukuthi alinakho ukulondeka kwangempela, ukuthi ngokushesha lizobhujiswa, nokuthi impumelelo yangempela—ukulondeka nokuphila okuphakade emhlabeni oyipharadesi—kuxhomeke ekumeni komuntu noNkulunkulu. Ngakho-ke, yeka ukuthi kubaluleke kangakanani ukulwela ukusebenzisa iseluleko seBhayibheli esithi: “Ningakhathazeki ngalutho, kodwa kukho konke izicelo zenu mazaziwe uNkulunkulu ngomthandazo nangokunxusa kanye nokubonga; futhi ukuthula kukaNkulunkulu okudlula konke ukucabanga kuyoqapha izinhliziyo zenu namandla enu engqondo ngoKristu Jesu.” Ukuthula okunjalo akunakufinyelelwa yinoma ubani onombono wezwe nongakuboni ukubaluleka komthandazo.—Filipi 4:6, 7.

Nokho, uJehova uyokwenza okungaphezu kokukunikeza ukuthula kwengqondo. Uyokusiza ukuba uthwale umthwalo wakho wemfanelo nsuku zonke uma ‘uphonsa konke ukukhathazeka kwakho kuye.’ (1 Petru 5:7; IHubo 68:19) Ngakho-ke, kuwukuhlakanipha ukulalela uNkulunkulu nsuku zonke ngokufunda ingxenye yeZwi lakhe. Ubani ongakunikeza iseluleko esingcono kunoMdali wakho? (IHubo 119:99, 100, 105) Yebo, okuye kwenzeka kuye kwabonisa ukuthi labo ababeka uNkulunkulu phambili ekuphileni kwabo basizwa kakhulu ukuba babhekane ngenjabulo naleli zwe lanamuhla elimatasa.—IzAga 1:33; 3:5, 6.
