Umbono KaNkulunkulu Ngesehlukaniso
NAKUBA isehlukaniso sasivunyelwe phakathi kwama-Israyeli ngenxa yezizathu ezihlukahlukene, uJehova uNkulunkulu wasilawula ngoMthetho wakhe awunika u-Israyeli ngoMose. UDuteronomi 24:1 ufundeka kanje: “Lapho umuntu ethatha umfazi, aganwe nguye, engasathandeki emehlweni akhe kodwa, lokhu efumanisile kuye okuthile okwenyanyekayo, uyakumlobela incwadi yesahlukaniso, amnike yona esandleni sakhe, amkhiphe endlini yakhe.”
Ukuthi kuyini ngempela “okuthile okwenyanyekayo” (ngokwezwi nezwi, “ubunqunu bento”) akushiwo ngokuqondile. Ukuthi kwakungekhona ukuphinga kuboniswa iqiniso lokuthi umthetho kaNkulunkulu awunika u-Israyeli wawuyale ukuthi labo abanecala lokuphinga kumelwe babulawe, kungamane nje kwenziwe isehlukaniso nabo. (Duteronomi 22:22-24) Ngokungangabazeki, ekuqaleni lokho “okwenyanyekayo” okwakunganikeza indoda engumHeberu isisekelo sokuhlukanisa nomkayo kwakuhilela izindaba ezingathi sína, mhlawumbe ukungabonisi nhlonipho okungathi sína komfazi ngendoda noma ukuletha ihlazo emkhayeni.
Njengoba uMthetho wawusho ngokuqondile ukuthi “wothanda umakhelwane wakho njengalokhu uzithanda wena,” akunangqondo ukucabanga ukuthi amaphutha amancane ayengasetshenziswa ngokukhululekile njengezaba zokwenza isehlukaniso nowesifazane.—Levitikusi 19:18.
Imvume kaMose yasekuqaleni yesehlukaniso ayizange ikwenze kube lula ngendoda engum-Israyeli ukuba ihlukanise nomkayo. Ukuze yenze kanjalo, kwakudingeka ithathe izinyathelo ezingokomthetho. Kwakudingeka ibhale incwadi yobufakazi, “incwadi yesahlukaniso.” Indoda eyenza isehlukaniso kwakudingeka ‘imnike yona esandleni sakhe, imkhiphe endlini yayo.’—Duteronomi 24:1.
Nakuba imiBhalo inganikezi imininingwane eyengeziwe ngalenqubo, kusobala ukuthi lesi sinyathelo esingokomthetho sasihilela ukubonana namadoda amiswe ngokomthetho, ayengase aqale azame ukwenza ukubuyisana. Isikhathi esasihilelekile lapho kulungiselelwa lencwadi futhi kwenziwa isehlukaniso ngokomthetho sasinganikeza indoda eyenza isehlukaniso ithuba lokucabangisisa ngesinqumo sayo.
Indinganiso KaNkulunkulu Yasekuqaleni
Ukuthi amadoda angamaJuda ayesebenzisa izizathu eziningi ukuze enze isehlukaniso lapho uJesu Kristu esemhlabeni kubonakala ngombuzo owabuzwa abaFarisi kuJesu: “Kungokomthetho yini ukuba umuntu ahlukanise nomkakhe ngayo yonke inhlobo yesizathu?”—Mathewu 19:3.
Empendulweni yakhe uJesu wabonisa ukuthi lapho uJehova ehlanganisa u-Adamu no-Eva ngomshado, akazange enze ilungiselelo lesehlukaniso. Wabonisa ukuthi uNkulunkulu wayehlose ukuba indoda ishiye uyise nonina futhi inamathele kumkayo, laba ababili babe nyamanye. UJesu wabe esenezela: “Ngakho abasebabili, kodwa banyamanye. Ngakho-ke, lokho uNkulunkulu akubophele ndawonye ejokeni makungahlukaniswa muntu.”—Mathewu 19:3-6; qhathanisa noGenesise 2:22-24.
Ngokulandelayo abaFarisi babuza: “Pho-ke, kungani uMose ayaleza ukumnika incwadi yokuxoshwa nokuhlukanisa naye?” Ephendula, uKristu wathi: “UMose, ngenxa yokucabangela ukuba nhliziyo-lukhuni kwenu, wanivumela ukuba nihlukanise nomkenu, kodwa lokho kwakungenjalo kusukela ekuqaleni.”—Mathewu 19:7, 8.
