‘Wakhumbula UMdali Wakhe Ezinsukwini Zobusha Bakhe’

UMnu. Day wayenokukhulumela kwakhe okuthile ngo-Adrian: “Wayeyikhasimende elinekhono lokukusingatha ngesineke ukugula kwalo okubucayi, ngokuqinile, nangesibindi. Kwakunokuzimisela emehlweni akhe; ukuzethemba okujulile ezwini lakhe; isibindi endleleni yakhe yokwenza izinto. “Ngiyaneliseka ukuthi ukholelwa ngenhliziyo yakhe yonke ukuthi ukufaka igazi kungaba okungalungile nokuthi ukuphoqelelwa ukuba alifake kulezimo esikhuluma ngazo kungaba ukuhlaselwa komzimba wakhe, ukuhlaselwa kwenkululeko yakhe, nokuhlaselwa kwabo bonke ubuntu bakhe, kangangokuthi kuyoba nethonya elikhulu emandleni akhe nasekhonweni lakhe lokubhekana novivinyo olusabekayo okufanele abhekane nalo, kungakhathaliseki ukuthi uba yini umphumela.

“Ngiyavuma ukuthi udokotela ukhulume kahle lapho ethi isiguli kumelwe sibe sesimweni sengqondo sokubambisana nesiqondile ngokuphathelene nokwelashwa ngamakhemikhali nezinye izindlela zokwelapha umdlavuza ukuze kube nethemba elithile, ithemba langempela, lempumelelo, nokuthi isiguli okuphoqelelwe kuso okuthile okungahambisani nezinkolelo zaso eziyigugu esibambelele kuzo ngokujulile kungaba isiguli okungancishiswa ngokuphawulekayo ukufanelekela kwaso ukwelashwa. . . .

“Ngicabanga ukuthi lokhu okwenzeke ku-A. kuye kwamenza wavuthwa ngezinga obekungeke kwenzeke ngalo ngengane eneminyaka engu-15 engabhekani nengaphili ngezinto lona aphila ngazo futhi okumelwe abhekane nazo nabhekene nazo. Ngicabanga ukuthi okuhlangenwe nakho kwakhe kungokuhlangenwe nakho okubi kunakho konke engingakucabanga, futhi ngicabanga ukuthi ukholo lungenye yezinto ezimqinisayo nomkhaya wakubo. Ngicabanga ukuthi okwenzekile kuye kwenza u-A. wavuthwa ngaphezu kokulindelekile kumuntu oneminyaka engu-15. Izifiso zakhe ziwukuthi kungasetshenziswa imikhiqizo yegazi, futhi ngiyaqiniseka ukuthi izithakazelo zakhe ezinhle ziyothinteka kabi kakhulu nangendlela esobala uma uMqondisi eziguqula ngandlela-thile ngaphansi kwesinqumo saleNkantolo . . . Kwakuyisigijimi esinengqondo ngokuphawulekayo lomfana osemncane, owayazi ukuthi uzofa, asithumela kuMahlulel’ uRobert Wells, esadluliselwa nguMnu. David Day, esasithi: “Ngicabanga ukuthi kuyobe ngiyadebesela uma, ngenxa yekhasimende lami engikhulume nalo ngamafuphi ngemva nje kokuba uhambile esibhedlela namuhla, ngingalibongeli ngokusuka enhliziyweni yalo, okuyinhliziyo enomusa kakhulu, ngokusingatha lendaba ngokushesha nangozwelo nobuqotho obukhulu. “Umngcwabo wakhe wawumkhulu kunayo yonke isikhungo sezemingcwabo esake saba nayo—abahlengikazi, odokotela, abazali beziguli, ayefunda nabo ekilasini, omakhelwane, neningi labafowabo nawodadewabo abangokomoya basebandleni lakubo nabakwamanye amabandla. Sengathi singalindela ukugcwaliseka kwesithembiso sikaJesu ku-Adrian esikuJohane 5:28, 29: “Ningamangali ngalokho, ngokuba isikhathi siyeza, lapho bonke abasemathuneni beyakulizwa izwi layo, abenzé ukulunga baphumele ekuvukeni kokuphila, abenzé okubi ekuvukeni kokulahlwa.”
