“The God of Truth” Can Always Do What He Promise

1. According to Psalm 31:​2-5, why we can trust Jehovah? (Psalm 31:​2-5)

THE world we living in full of plenty people who like lying business. You can’t even know who to trust. For example, business people can cheat each other. It common for people to lie about the thing dem they selling just so people can buy it. And some people can’t even trust their best friend dem to stick to their promise. But it good to know da we can always trust Jehovah! The Bible say he “the God of truth.” (Read Psalm 31:​2-5.) Anything Jehovah say da true, and da because he can’t lie. We convince da anything Jehovah say, he will do it.

2. Wetin we will talk about in this article?

² In this article, we will talk about some reason dem da can make us to trust Jehovah with our whole heart. Then we will talk about how God will destroy Satan and this wicked world. We will also talk about what Jehovah doing now-now to make his purpose for the earth and human being to come true. It will also help us to be brave to tell other people the truth about Jehovah.

WHY WE CAN TRUST JEHOVAH?

3. Why we can trust in Jehovah with our whole heart?

³ We can trust Jehovah because he the Creator. Da he the one make the heavens, the earth and all the living thing dem. (Gen. 1:1; Ps. 36:9; Rev. 4:11) He make the earth and put all the thing dem we need to continue living on it. For example, the air da we can breath and the water we can drink. He controlling everything in heaven and he will continue to control it. We can trust da Jehovah will protect us and give us wonderful future because da he the one make us, he know everything, and he get plenty power.

4. How we know da Jehovah love us?

⁴ We can trust Jehovah because he love us. Jehovah make human being because he want them to enjoy life and live forever. Jehovah tell Jesus the thing he get in mind for human being when he say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness.” (Gen. 1:26) He give us freedom to make our own decision. He make the earth beautiful for us to live on it. (Ps. 115:16) And he give our first parents, Adam and Eve wonderful work to make this earth paradise. (Gen. 1:28; 2:15) He give them plenty good-good food, different-different plants and animals and plenty good-good things. He do all this one dem because he want us to be happy and enjoy our life. All this one dem show da he love us and he will continue to love us forever.—Ps. 103:17.

5. (a) Wetin Jehovah do when Adam and Eve disobey him? (b) What some of Jehovah promise dem da na come true? (See the box “Some of God Promise Dem da na Come True.”)

⁵ We can trust Jehovah because he can always do the thing dem he promise. Jehovah not make the earth for nothing. He make the earth for human being to live on it. (Isa. 45:​18, 19) When Adam and Eve disobey God, their punishment wor for them to die. So it wor looking like the Devil na stop Jehovah from doing what he wanted to do for the earth and human being. (Isa. 46:​10, 11) But nothing can stop Jehovah from doing what he decide to do. Da the reason why Jehovah allow Adam and Eve to born children. And He sent His Son to die for us so we can get the hope to live forever.—John 3:16.

6. After Adam and Eve disobey, wetin Jehovah say wor coming happen?

⁶ The person who make Adam and Eve to disobey God da “the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan.”a (Rev. 12:9; Gen. 3:​4, 5; John 8:44) And because of what Satan na do, Jehovah say he will destroy him in the future. (Gen. 3:15) But before Jehovah destroy Satan, plenty people will follow him and will do bad-bad thing dem like him. But some people will still remain faithful to Jehovah.

7. Who dem following Satan, and wetin will happen to them?

⁷ Those who following Satan da some angels and human being dem who na turn their back on Jehovah. They follow Satan because they hate Jehovah. But Jehovah already na choose the time he will destroy Satan and all those who follow him.—Dan. 2:44; Rom. 16:20.

8. Wetin Jesus do in 1914? (Also see the pictures.)

⁸ Why we can be convince da the promise Jehovah make to destroy Satan and all those who follow him will come true? In 1914, Jesus fight Satan and his demon dem and throw them down on the earth. (Rev. 12:​7-9) Even though the war take place in heaven, human being na suffer on this earth because of da war. In fact the Bible say: “Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.” (Rev. 12:12) Since 1914, Satan main focus da to make plenty people to follow him. And because of da, the problem in the world continue to get worse. But Jesus will soon stop Satan from ruling this world and destroy all the people who follow him. (Rev. 6:2) Jesus will make it clear to everybody da Satan da wicked person who na say all kindna lie-lie thing dem about Jehovah. (Ps. 45:​4-6) And everybody will know da Jehovah da the almighty God who can always talk the truth!—Ezek. 38:23.

JEHOVAH BRINGING PEOPLE WHO LOVE THE TRUTH TOGETHER

9. Who dem Jehovah bringing together today?

⁹ For some time now, Jehovah being bringing “all things together to be united with Christ. The thing dem da in heaven and the thing dem da on earth.” (Eph. 1:10) “The thing dem da in heaven” stand for the anointed, who Jehovah na choose to rule with Christ in heaven. “The thing dem da on earth” stand for the people who will live forever in Paradise on earth. All of them busy helping other people to learn the truth about Jehovah. And they also showing to everybody da Satan da wicked liar.

10. How Jehovah helping people to learn the truth? (Revelation 14:​6, 7)

¹⁰ Jehovah bringing people who love the truth together through the greatest preaching work da na ever happen on this earth. (Read Revelation 14:​6, 7.) Even though Jehovah using human being to preach the good news, the angel dem helping to direct people who love the truth to Jehovah people. This preaching work helping people to understand da the Devil na stay long using false religion to say all kindna lie-lie thing dem about Jehovah. (Rev. 18:​2, 4) Jehovah will soon destroy all false religions forever. And all the people who love the God da can talk the true, will give him the glory da he suppose to get.—Rev. 17:16.

11. How we can know the people who worshipping Jehovah the right way?

¹¹ Jehovah can bring different-different people from all over the world to be part of his family. (Rev. 7:​9, 10) When they hear “the good news,” they can see da they na find the truth and they can be happy to be part of Jehovah people. (Mark 13:10) Every day, it getting more and more easy to know the people who serving Jehovah the right way from the people who not serving him the right way. Da why the prophet Malachi say: “You will again see the distinction between a righteous person and a wicked person, between one serving God and one not serving him.” (Mal. 3:18) Jehovah Witnesses can show da they worshipping God the right way by their behavior and the preaching work they can do.

12. How the preaching work helping to make Jehovah will to come true?

¹² When we preaching the “good news about the Kingdom,” it show da we doing what Jesus tell us to do. Our preaching work also fulfilling Bible prophecy. (Matt. 24:14; 28:​18-20) Because of the preaching work, plenty people from all over the world coming to be Jesus disciple. And they waiting for the time they will worship Jehovah forever. Da real honor for Jehovah to use us to make his will to come true!

WE CAN BE SURE DA JEHOVAH WILL ALWAYS DO WHAT HE PROMISE

13. Who the main people Satan can attack, and why?

¹³ Satan vex bad way because he know da he not get plenty time again and Jehovah will soon destroy this wicked world. (Rev. 12:​12, 13) The main people who Satan can attack da the people dem who Jehovah na choose to go rule with Jesus in heaven. And da because da they the one can “observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness concerning Jesus.” (Rev. 12:17; 14:12) Satan can also attack anybody who support them and the work they doing.

14. Wetin will happen when Satan attack Jehovah people? (Also see the picture.)

¹⁴ After they destroy Babylon the Great, those who following Satan will try to destroy Jehovah people. And da what will make Armageddon to start. (Rev. 16:​13, 14, 16) During da war, Jesus and his army in heaven will save Jehovah people and destroy everything da Satan get on the earth. (Rev. 19:​19-21) No wicked people and people who can lie will be on the earth again. (Rev. 21:8) Everybody will know da Jehovah can always do the right thing and he can always talk the truth.

15. Why we convince da all the promise dem da Jehovah make about the future will come true? (Isaiah 65:​16, 17) (Also see the picture.)

¹⁵ Today, people all over the world continue to fight and lie to each other more than ever before. But Jehovah helping his people to always be united. He bringing all the people who love the truth to his family. And nothing can stop Jehovah from blessing his people and the work da he give them to do. (Read Isaiah 65:​16, 17.) We convince da all the promise da Jehovah make about the future will come true. Why? Da because of what the apostle Paul say in Romans 8:​38, 39. He say: “I really sure da God and our Lord Jesus Christ love us. So not even death or life or angels or governments or the thing dem da here now or the thing dem da will come or power or anything da way up or anything da way down or any other thing da God made will be able to stop us from getting their love.”

16. Why you trust Jehovah with your whole heart?

¹⁶ We get good-good reason to trust Jehovah the God who can always talk the true. Da he the one who make everything in heaven and on earth. He really love us. And he bringing plenty people together from all around the world to come serve him the right way. (Isa. 60:22; Zech. 8:23) We know da Jehovah will soon make all his promise dem to come true. And we know da he will soon stop Satan from ruling this world so da we can be free from all the lie-lie thing dem he making people to believe. We pray like David who say: “May Jehovah God be praised, . . . who alone does wonderful things. May his glorious name be praised forever, and may his glory fill the whole earth.”—Ps. 72:​18, 19.
