“Konke Kwenzeleni Udumo LukaNkulunkulu”

UDUMO lukaJehova uNkulunkulu luyindaba ebalulekile kubo bonke abakhuleka kuye “ngomoya nangeqiniso.” (Johane 4:23, 24) Ngakho, umphostoli uPawulu watshela amaKristu ayekanye nawo eKorinte lasendulo: “Noma nidla, noma niphuza, noma nenzani, konke kwenzeleni udumo lukaNkulunkulu.” (1 Korinte 10:31) Ukwenza lokhu kudinga ukuba samukele indlela kaJehova yokuxazulula izinkinga zethu kulelizwe elithanda izinto ezibonakalayo, elonakele, nelingene shí enkolweni yamanga.

AmaKristu aseKorinte ayedinga usizo lwaphezulu ekuxazululeni izinkinga, ngoba ayehlala edolobheni elinothile, elonakele neligcwele inkolo yamanga. Njengoba yayakhiwe emdweshwini wezwe ophakathi kwezwekazi laseGrisi nePeloponnisos, iKorinte yayiyinhloko-dolobha yesifunda saseRoma iAkhaya futhi yayinesilinganiso sabantu abangu-400 000. UPawulu wamisa ibandla lapho cishe ngo-50 C.E.—IzEnzo 18:1-11.

AbaseKorinte babebhalele uPawulu bebuza ngomshado nangokudla inyama enikelwe ezithombeni. (7:1) Wayekhathazekile ngoba kwakukhona ukwahlukana nokuziphatha okubi ngokwedlulele phakathi kwabo. Babedinga iseluleko ngendlela efanele yokugubha Isidlo SeNkosi Sakusihlwa. Kwakukhona ngisho nosongo lokuhlubuka, futhi ibandla lalidinga iseluleko ngothando. Ngenxa yezizathu ezinjalo, uPawulu wabhala incwadi yokuqala ephefumlelwe eya kwabaseKorinte ese-Efesu cishe ngo-55 C.E. Kepha nathi singazuza kuyo.

Ubunye Nokuhlanzeka Kokuziphatha Kubalulekile

Uma “konke sikwenzela udumo lukaNkulunkulu,” asinakulandela muntu ofuna ukubanga ukwahlukana ebandleni—enye yezinkinga eyayibhekene nabaseKorinte. (1:1–4:21) UPawulu wabanxusa ukuba ‘bakhulume zwilinye futhi bapheleliswe emqondweni munye nasekuboneni kunye.’ Ubunye buyoba khona uma silandela lesiseluleko futhi sihlakulela izimfanelo ezingokomoya. Esikhundleni sokuqhosha nganoma yimuphi umuntu onesono, kufanele sikhumbule ukuthi nakuba ‘sitshala futhi sinisela, uNkulunkulu okhulisayo’ ngokomoya. Ababeqhosha eKorinte babengenalutho ababengalwamukelanga; ngakho masingalokothi sizicabangele njengabangcono kunesikholwa nabo. Umoya wokuzithoba onjalo uyosisiza ukuba sithuthukise ubunye.

Ukuze ubunye buvame, abadala abamisiwe kumelwe bathathe isinyathelo ukuze bagcine ibandla lihlanzekile ngokomoya. (5:1–6:20) Njengoba “imvubelo encane ibilisa inhlama yonke,” izifebe ezingaphenduki, abahahayo, abakhonza izithombe, izithuki, izidakwa, noma abaphangi kumelwe basuswe ekuhlanganyeleni. Ukungcola kokuziphatha okungcolisa ithempeli likaNkulunkulu, akumelwe kubekezelelwe phakathi kwabantu bakaJehova. Kunalokho kumelwe benze izinto ezidumisa uNkulunkulu.

Cabangela Abanye

Ukuze ‘konke sikwenzele udumo lukaNkulunkulu,’ sidinga ukusebenzisa iseluleko sikaPawulu ngokuqondene nomshado kanye nokungashadi. (7:1-40) Labo abashadile kumelwe banike okufaneleyo kobulili ngokucabangela. UmKristu oshadile akumelwe ahlale ngokwahlukana nomngane wakhe ongakholwa, ngoba ukuhlala ndawonye kungamsiza ukuba athole ukusindiswa. Nakuba umshado uletha ukukhathazeka kwengqondo okukhulayo, ukungashadi kungamzuzisa umuntu ofisa ukusiza abanye ngokomoya ngokukhonza iNkosi ngaphandle kokuphazamiseka.

Ukubonisa ukucabangela inhlala-kahle yabanye engokomoya kuwumthwalo wemfanelo wawo wonke amaKristu, kungakhathaliseki ukuthi ashadile noma awashadile. (8:1–10:33) Ngakho abaseKorinte belulekwa ukuba bangakhubekisi abanye ngokudla inyama enikelwe ezithombeni. Ukuze agweme ukuthiya noma ubani ekwamukeleni izindaba ezinhle, uPawulu akazange alisebenzise ilungelo lakhe lokwamukela usizo lwezinto ezibonakalayo. Futhi ‘wawutuba umzimba wakhe ukuze ngemva kokushumayeza abanye, angaliwa.’ Ukukuthatha ngokungathi sína okuhlangenwe nakho kwasehlane kukaIsrayeli owonayo kuyosisiza ukuba sigweme ukukhonza izithombe nokwenza okubi. Ngaphezu kwalokho, ‘ukwenza konke ngenxa yodumo lukaNkulunkulu’ kuyosisiza ukuba sigweme ukukhubekisa abanye.

Bonisa Inhlonipho Futhi Ulondoloze Ukuhleleka

‘Ukwenza konke ngenxa yodumo lukaNkulunkulu’ kudinga ukuba sibonise inhlonipho ejulile. (11:1-34) Owesifazane ongumKristu wekhulu lokuqala wayebonisa inhlonipho ngobunhloko ngokugqoka isembozo sekhanda uma ethandaza noma eprofetha ebandleni. Abesifazane abesaba uNkulunkulu namuhla babonisa inhlonipho efanayo. Ngaphezu kwalokho, ukuze sigweme ukuba njengabaseKorinte ababedinga ukulungiswa, sonke kumelwe sibonise inhlonipho ngeSidlo seNkosi Sakusihlwa.

Ukuze ‘konke kwenzelwe udumo lukaNkulunkulu,’ kumelwe siqhube imihlangano ngendlela ehlelekile. (12:1–14:40) Lapho amaKristu akuqala ehlangana, iziphiwo zomoya ezinjengokukhuluma ngezilimi kwakumelwe zisetshenziswe ngokuhlonipha nokwazisa umthombo wazo kanye nenjongo yazo. Nakuba manje singenazo iziphiwo ezinjalo, siletha udumo kuNkulunkulu ngokubonisa uthando, oluzedlulayo. Futhi sidumisa uJehova ngokuba imihlangano yethu ihlelwe kahle, futhi ngenhlonipho sisebenzise iseluleko sikaPawulu: “Konke makwenziwe ngemfanelo nangenhlelo.”

‘Ukwenzela konke udumo lukaNkulunkulu’ kudinga ukuba sihloniphe imfundiso yeBhayibheli nokuma siqinile ngokomoya. (15:1–15:24) Ngokunokwenzeka bethonywe ifilosofi yamaGreki, abanye ebandleni laseKorinte bathi: “Akukho ukuvuka kwabafileyo.” (Qhathanisa nezEnzo 17:18, 32.) Kungenzeka babenombono wezihlubuki wokuthi lwalungeke lube khona uvuko lwesikhathi esizayo kodwa lawomaKristu aphilayo ayesevukile ngokomfanekiso, nangokomoya. (2 Thimothewu 2:16-18) UPawulu wasekela ithemba leqiniso ngokuphawula ukuvuka kukaJesu futhi wabonisa ukuthi amaKristu agcotshiwe kumelwe afe ukuze avuselwe ekuphileni kokungafi kwasezulwini. Ngezinye izindlela futhi, amazwi akhe asisiza ukuba sigweme ukuhlubuka futhi ‘sime siqinile okholweni.’

Izinto Zenzeleni Udumo LukaNkulunkulu Ngaso Sonke Isikhathi

Iseluleko sikaPawulu kweyokuQala KwabaseKorinte siyinzuzo namuhla njengoba sasinjalo ekhulwini lokuqala C.E. Sishukumisela oFakazi BakaJehova bosuku lwanamuhla ukuba bakhonze uNkulunkulu ngobunye njengabantu abahlanzekile. Amazwi omphostoli kumelwe asenze sicabangele abanye futhi sibonise inhlonipho efanele. Lokho okwashiwo uPawulu kungasiqinisa ukuba simelane nokuhlubuka futhi simelele ukholo lweqiniso ngokuqinile.

Ngokuqinisekile, kuyisifiso esisuka enhliziyweni sazo zonke izinceku zikaJehova ezithembekile ukumdumisa, ukumemezela uMbuso wakhe, nokukhazimulisa igama lakhe elingcwele. (IHubo 145:1, 2, 10-13) Eqinisweni, incwadi kaPawulu yokuqala eyayiya kwabaseKorinte isisiza ukuba ‘konke sikwenzele udumo lukaNkulunkulu.’

WAYEQINISEKA NGOKUFA: Izikhathi ezingaphezu kwesisodwa ezincwadini zakhe ezaziya kwabaseKorinte, uPawulu wabhekisela ekufeni enkundleni. Ngokwesibonelo, wabhala: “Ngithi kungathi uNkulunkulu usimisile thina-baphostoli sibe-ngabokugcina, sibe njengabanqunyelwe ukufa; ngokuba senziwe umbukwane wezwe, nowezingelosi nowabantu.” (1 Korinte 4:9) UPawulu kungenzeka wayecabanga ngemibukiso yamabestiarii (abantu ababelwa nezilo) neyezilwi (abantu ababelwa nabantu). Abanye babelwela ukuhola, kodwa izelelesi zaziphoqelelwa ukulwa. Zivunyelwe ukusebenzisa izikhali ekuqaleni, kamuva leziboshwa zazilethwa obala zizé, zingavikelekile, zizokufa nakanjani.

‘Kunezingelosi’ ‘nabantu’ (hhayi nje ‘izwe’ lesintu) njengezibukeli, abaphostoli babefana nalabo ababezofa embukwaneni onjalo wokuchithwa kwegazi. UPawulu wathi ‘walwa nezilo e-Efesu’ kodwa abanye bayangabaza ukuthi isakhamuzi saseRoma sasingabhekana nalokhu futhi bathi wayebhekisela kubaphikisi abanjengezilo. (1 Korinte 15:32) Kepha amazwi kaPawulu okuthi uNkulunkulu wamophula “ekufeni okungaka” esigodini saseAsiya (lapho iEfesu yayakhiwe khona) kufanelana kangcono nokubhekana nezilo zasendle ezingokoqobo enkundleni kunokuphikisa kwabantu.—2 Korinte 1:8-10; 11:23; IzEnzo 19:23-41.

BHEKA UMVUZO: UPawulu wasebenzisa izici zemidlalo yamaGreki asendulo ukuze afanekise amaphuzu abalulekile. (1 Korinte 9:24-27) Emincintiswaneni enjengamaIsthmian Game, eyayenziwa kabili ngonyaka eduze kwaseKorinte, uhlelo lwaluhlanganisa ukugijima, isibhakela, kanye neminye imidlalo. Uma kulungiselelwa lemincintiswano, abagijimi nabashayi besibhakela kwakumelwe bazibambe baphile ngokudla okungacebile okunempilo, futhi bangaliphuzi iwayini izinyanga eziyishumi. Esikhundleni somqhele owonakalayo kaphayini noma wezimbali owawunikezwa ababewina kumaIsthmian Game, umKristu ogcotshiwe ulwela umqhele ongonakali wokuphila kokungafi. Ukuze azuze lowomklomelo, kumelwe agcine amehlo akhe egxile kuwo futhi azithibe. Isimiso esifanayo siyasebenza koFakazi BakaJehova abanombono wokuphila phakade emhlabeni.
