4 UJehova uNkulunkulu wabuza uIsaya ukuthi “Ngubani oyakusiyela?” ngonyaka iNkosi u-Uziya eyafa ngawo. 6. Kungani kwakuyilungelo ngoIsaya ukubona lokho akubona?
6 UIsaya wayazi ukuthi u-Uziya wayeshaywe ngochoko lapho, ngokugabadela engena eNgcwele yethempeli ukuyonikela ngempepho, engesiye owesizwe sabapristi. 7. UIsaya wasabela kanjani, futhi kungani singase sizizwe ngendlela efanayo?
7 UIsaya makaphendule. “Ngase ngithi: Maye kimi! Ngokuba ngiphelile, lokhu ngingumuntu ozindebe zakhe zingcolile, futhi ngihlezi phakathi kwabantu abazindebe zabo zingcolile, ngokuba amehlo ami abonile iNkosi uJehova-Sebawoti.” (Isaya 6:5) UIsaya wayazi ukuthi wayengumkhulumeli kaNkulunkulu, kodwa lombono wagcizelela kuye ukuthi wayengahlanzekile, engenazo izindebe ezimsulwa ezazingafanela umkhulumeli waleNkosi ekhazimulayo nengcwele. Nathi futhi, kungenzeka ngezinye izikhathi siye sazinyeza ngokuba kwethu nesono, sizizwa singakufanelekele ukuya kuNkulunkulu ngomthandazo, kungasakhulunywa ngokubizwa ngegama lakhe. 8. Iyini inkonzo eyenziwa ingelosi, kwaba namuphi umphumela?
8 Elinye lamaserafi akhonzayo landizela kuye liphethe ilahle elivuthayo elilithathe ealtare leminikelo yezilwane. 9. Yini eyayiqukethwe isigijimi sikaIsaya?
9 Lokhu okuhlangenwe nakho okumangalisayo kwaholela ekubeni umprofethi amukele ukuthunywa kokushumayela osekukhulunywe ngakho. (Isaya 6:8, 9) Kodwa kungani uIsaya kwakumelwe athi abantu babeyozwa ngokuphindaphindiwe kodwa bangaze baqonda? IZwi likaNkulunkulu lanezela: “Yenza inhliziyo yalababantu ukuba ikhuluphale, nezindlebe zabo zibe-buthuntu, ufiphaze amehlo abo, funa babone . . . babuye, baphiliswe.” (Isaya 6:10) Ingabe lokhu kusho ukuthi uIsaya, ngokungenangqondo noma ngobuwula, kwakufanele awenqabe amaJuda ukuze ahlale esesimweni sokungezwani noJehova? Cha. 10. (a) Lalikuphi iphutha ngokuqondene nokuba kwabantu abafana nezimpumputhe nezithulu? (b) UIsaya wayesho ukuthini ngokubuza ukuthi “Koze kube-nini?”
10 Iphutha lalikubantu. Naphezu kokubavumela kukaIsaya ukuba bezwe ngokuphindaphindiwe babengeke bangenise ulwazi noma baqonde. UNkulunkulu washo kusengaphambili ukuthi iningi, ngenxa yesimo salo sokuba ntamo-lukhuni nokuntula isimo sengqondo esingokomoya, lalingeke lisabele. Idlanzana lalingase lisabele. Kodwa iningi lalizoba yizimpumputhe njengokungathi amehlo alo ayevalwe ananyathiselwa ngenhlaka enamandla kakhulu, uma ungakucabanga lokho. Lesisimo esibi sasiyoqhubeka isikhathi eside kangakanani? Esikhundleni sokubuza iminyaka okwakuyodingeka ayikhonze, yilokhu uIsaya akubuza ngalamazwi: “Nkosi, koze kube-nini na?” UNkulunkulu waphendula kanje: “Kuze kuchithwe imizi, kungabe kusaba-khona ohlala kuyo.” Futhi kwenzeka kanjalo, nakuba kwakungemva kwesikhathi sokuphila kukaIsaya. AbaseBabiloni basusa abantu, beshiya izwe lakwaJuda ‘lichithwe laba yize.’—Isaya 6:11, 12; 2 AmaKhosi 25:1-26.
11. Ukushumayela kukaIsaya kwayinikeza kanjani induduzo?
11 Nokho, ekugcineni uJehova waqinisekisa uIsaya ukuthi isimo sasingesona esingenathemba. “Kusekhona ingxenye yeshumi kulo [izwe].” Yebo, ‘kwakunjengomtherebinte neoki okusiqu sakho simi lapho kugawulwa khona; inzalo engcwele.’ (Isaya 6:13) Ngemva kweminyaka engama-70 yokudingiselwa eBabiloni, inzalo noma insali, yabuyela ezweni, njengokungathi ihlumela elisha elihluma esiqwini somuthi omkhulu. (2 IziKronike 36:22, 23; Ezra 1:1-4; qhathanisa noJobe 14:7-9; Daniyeli 4:10, 13-15, 26.) Ngakho, nakuba isigijimi sikaIsaya sasidabukisa, sasinesici esiduduzayo. Ukugcwaliseka Okukhulu
12. Isiphi isisekelo esingokomBhalo sokubiza uJesu ngokuthi uIsaya oMkhulu?
12 Emakhulwini eminyaka amaningi ngemva kokufa kukaIsaya, kwafika lowo esingambiza ngokuthi uIsaya oMkhulu—uJesu Kristu. Ekuphileni kwakhe kwangaphambi kobuntu, wayeye wavuma ngokuzithandela ukuthunywa nguYise emhlabeni, lapho ayeyohlanganisa ekushumayeleni kwakhe izinto ezazibhalwe nguIsaya. (IzAga 8:30, 31; Johane 3:17, 34; 5:36-38; 7:28; 8:42; Luka 4:16-19; Isaya 61:1) Ngokuqonde ngqó, uJesu wazihlanganisa noIsaya isahluko 6 lapho echaza ukuthi kungani ayefundisa ngendlela ayefundisa ngayo. (Mathewu 13:10-15; Marku 4:10-12; Luka 8:9, 10) Lokho kwakufaneleka, ngoba, njengalabo ababezwe umprofethi uIsaya babengazimisele ukwamukela isigijimi sakhe, amaJuda amaningi ayezwe uJesu ayengazimisele ukwamukela isigijimi sakhe futhi athathe isinyathelo. 13 Lokhu kusiholela kokunye ukugcwaliseka okusekelwe eBhayibhelini kukaIsaya isahluko 6. Njengosizo ekuqondeni lokhu, cabangela amazwi omphostoli uPawulu cishe ngonyaka ka-60 C.E. Wachaza ukuthi kungani amaJuda amaningi ayemzwile eRoma ayengeke abamukele ‘ubufakazi’ bakhe “ngombuso kaNkulunkulu.” Isizathu sasiwukuthi uIsaya 6:9, 10 wayegcwaliseka futhi. (IzEnzo 28:17-27) Ingabe lokhu kusho ukuthi ngemva kokuba uJesu esehambile emhlabeni, abafundi bakhe abagcotshiwe kwakumelwe bafeze ukuthunywa okufana nokukaIsaya? Yebo, ngempela!
14. Abafundi bakaJesu babeyowenza kanjani umsebenzi ofana nokaIsaya?
14 Ngaphambi kokuba uIsaya oMkhulu enyukele ezulwini, wathi abafundi bakhe babeyokwamukela umoya ongcwele futhi ngemva kwalokho babeyoba “ngofakazi [bakhe] eJerusalema, naseJudiya lonke, naseSamariya kuze kube-sekugcineni komhlaba.” (IzEnzo 1:8) Njengoba nje ialtare lomnikelo laveza lokho okwakudingeka ukuze kusuke isono sikaIsaya, kanjalo umnikelo kaJesu wawuyisisekelo ‘sokuhlangulwa kwezono’ zabafundi bakhe. (Levitikusi 6:12, 13; Heberu 10:5-10; 13:10-15) Kanjalo, uNkulunkulu wayengabagcoba ngomoya wakhe ongcwele, futhi owawuzobanika amandla okuba babe ‘ofakazi kuze kube sekugcineni komhlaba.’ Bobabili umprofethi uIsaya noIsaya oMkhulu babeye bathunyelwa ukuba bamemezele isigijimi sikaNkulunkulu. Ngokufanayo, abalandeli bakaJesu abagcotshiwe ‘bathunywa bevela kuNkulunkulu . . . nakuKristu.’—2 Korinte 2:17.

15 Ezikhathini zanamuhla, ikakhulukazi kusukela ekupheleni kweMpi Yezwe I, amaKristu agcotshiwe aye abona isidingo sokumemezela isigijimi sikaNkulunkulu. “Ngithume Mina”
16. Kungani kungathiwa “isixuku esikhulu” sihlanganyela emsebenzini ofana nokaIsaya?
16 Namuhla, kunezigidi zamaKritu azinikele anethemba elingokweBhayibheli lokuphila phakade epharadesi emhlabeni. Ngesisekelo segazi lomhlatshelo kaKristu, ‘lesixuku esikhulu’ singathethelelwa izono zaso ngezinga elidingekayo manje. Futhi sithola amandla nokusekelwa ngomoya kaNkulunkulu njengoba sihlanganyela nenani elisele lamaKristu agcotshiwe ekutheni, “Nangu mina; ngithume mina.” Sithunywa ukuba senzeni? UPawulu uthi kumaRoma 10:13-15: “Bonke abayakukhuleka egameni leNkosi bayakusindiswa. Kepha bayakukhuleka kanjani kuye abangakholwanga nguye na? Bayakukholwa kanjani abangezwanga ngaye na? Bayakuzwa kanjani, kungekho oshumayelayo na? Bayakushumayela kanjani, uma bengathunywa na? njengokulotshiweyo [kuIsaya 52:7] ukuthi: Yeka, zinhle izinyawo zabashumayela izindaba ezinhle.”—IsAmbulo 7:9-15.
17. Yini equkethwe isigijimi sethu efana nesiprofetho sikaIsaya?
17 Khumbula ukuthi kwakungaphambi kokuba akwazi konke okuqukethwe isigijimi lapho uIsaya ethi, “Nangu mina; ngithume mina.” Ngokuphambene, thina siyazi ukuthi yini uNkulunkulu afuna imenyezelwe manje yilabo abasabela esimemweni sakhe: “Ngiyakuthuma-bani, ngubani oyakusiyela na?” Sihlanganisa ukuxwayisa ‘ngosuku lokuphindisela lukaNkulunkulu wethu.’ Nokho, isigijimi futhi sihlanganisa “izindaba ezinhle.” Ngokwesibonelo, labo ‘abathunyiwe’ bahlanganyela ekumemezeleni “ukukhululwa kwabathunjwa nokuvulela iziboshwa itilongo.” Akufanele yini ukwenza lokho kube umthombo wokwaneliseka okukhulu?—Isaya 61:1, 2.
18, 19. Kungaziphi izindlela ezikhethekile abaningi abasho ngazo ukuthi “Thuma mina”?
18 Uma uzimemezela kakade “izindaba ezinhle,” lokhu kubukezwa kukaIsaya isahluko 6 kungakubangela ukuba ubuze: Ngingasabela kanjani ngokugcwele ngokwengeziwe ngomoya kaIsaya 6:8? Njengombhangqwana okukhulunywe ngawo ekuqaleni, amakhulu aye ahlanganyela esimisweni seziSebenzi Zokwakha Zokuzithandela Zamazwe Onke. Abaningi abanye, abantula amakhono okwakha, baye bathuthela emazweni lapho kunendingeko enkulu khona yabashumayeli boMbuso. (IzEnzo 16:9, 10) Ukwenza lokhu kungenzeka kuye kwadinga ukuzidela, njengokuthola olunye uhlobo lomsebenzi wokuziphilisa, mhlawumbe oholela kancane. Abanye baye bathatha umhlala-phansi ngaphambi kwesikhathi onempesheni elinganiselwe base bethola umsebenzi wesikhashana ukuze babe nesikhathi senkonzo esengeziwe. Yeka ukuthi kuhle kanjani uma yonke imikhaya ithi, “Thuma thina.” Nalokhu, kubonisa isimo sikaIsaya. Umkakhe wahlanganyela ngenkuthalo ekwenzeni intando kaNkulunkulu njengomprofethikazi, namadodana akhe ayehileleke ezigijimini zesiprofetho.—Isaya 7:3, 14-17; 8:3, 4.
20. Lapho ucabanga ngoIsaya 6:8, yini okufanele uyicabangele?
20 Ngisho noma izimo zakho zamanje zingaluvumeli ushintsho olukhulu kangako, ungase ucabange, ‘Ingabe ngenza konke engingakwenza lapho ngikhona ngilingisa ukusabela kukaIsaya?’ Zikhandle ekumemezeleni isigijimi sikaNkulunkulu, ngisho nasesimweni sezulu esibi noma emphakathini ongenasithakazelo; ngokuqinisekile, uIsaya wenza okufanayo. Shisekela ukukhuluma nabanye ‘ngezindaba ezinhle!’ UJehova uthe, “Ngiyakuthuma-bani?” Bonisa ukuthi njengoIsaya wasendulo, ukusabela kwakho kuwukuthi, “Nangu mina; ngithume mina” ukuba ngimemezele isigijimi saKhe.
