Khetha Ukuphila Okuphakade

ABANTU abakaze babe nezinto eziningi kangaka okudingeka bakhethe kuzo. Ngokwesibonelo, izingubo esizigqokayo, ukudla esikudlayo, lapho sisebenza khona nalapho sihlala khona ngokuvamile kuyindaba yokukhetha. Ezingxenyeni eziningi zomhlaba, ukukhetha umngane womshado kuyinto evamile. IBhayibheli, nokho, lisinikeza ithuba lokukhetha okudlula konke okunye ukukhetha—lokho okubekelwe sonke isintu.

IBhayibheli lithi: “Okumela ngokuqinile ukulunga uyothola ukuphila, kodwa oxoshana nokubi uzibizela ukufa.” (IzAga 11:19) UJesu Kristu naye wathi: “Lokhu kusho ukuphila okuphakade, ukungenisa kwabo ulwazi ngawe, owukuphela kukaNkulunkulu weqiniso, nangalowo omthumileyo, uJesu Kristu.”—Johane 17:3.

Yebo, uMdali wethu uye wasinika ithuba lokukhetha inkambo engaholela ekuphileni okuphakade! Yini okufanele siyenze ukuze sizuze ukuphila okuphakade?

NgokweBhayibheli, “endleleni yokulunga kukhona ukuphila.” (IzAga 12:28) Singaba phakathi kwabalungileyo abasendleleni eya ekuphileni okuphakade. Kanjani? Ngokuqiniseka ukuthi ukuphila kwethu kuvumelana nentando kaNkulunkulu nemiyalo yakhe. (Mathewu 7:13, 14) Ngakho-ke kwangathi singenza ukukhetha okuhle ukuze sithole isipho sikaNkulunkulu sokuphila okuphakade.—Roma 6:23.
