Follow the Faithful Angel Dem Example

WHEN Jehovah draw you to the truth, he invite you to be part of his big and loving family that worshiping him all over the world. The faithful angel dem also part of this big family. (Dan. 7:​9, 10) When we think about the angel dem, most of the time we can think about how they different from us. For example, Jehovah made the angel dem long time before he made human being. (Job 38:​4, 7) The angel dem get power more than us. And they holy and righteous more than us because we not perfect.—Luke 9:26.

² But even though we different from the angel dem in plenty ways, we also get plenty things in common with them. For example, we and the angel dem can imitate Jehovah fine-fine qualities. Like the angels, we get free will, we get our own names, qualities, and different-different assignments. We also know that we need to worship Jehovah like the angel dem.—1 Pet. 1:12.

3. Wetin we can learn from the faithful angel dem?

³ Since we and the angel dem get plenty things in common, their good example can encourage us and teach us. In fact, we can learn plenty fine-fine lessons from them. In this article, we will talk about how we can follow the faithful angel dem example to be humble and to love people. Also, we will learn how to bear problems and keep the congregation clean.

THE ANGEL DEM HUMBLE

⁴ The faithful angel dem humble. They can obey Jehovah directions even though they get experience, they powerful and wise. (Ps. 103:20) When they doing their assignments, they can’t boast about it or use their power in the way that will make people to praise them. They can be happy to do God will even when people not know their name.a (Gen. 32:​24, 29; 2 Ki. 19:35) They can’t accept praise that belong to Jehovah. Why the angel dem so humble? Because they love Jehovah and really respect him.—Read Psalm 89:7.

5. How one angel show that he humble when he wor correcting the apostle John? (Also see the picture.)

⁵ Let look at one example that show that the angel dem humble. Around 96 C.E., one angel who name we not know, show the apostle John some wonderful thing dem in vision. (Rev. 1:1) Wetin John do when he see that vision? He wanted to worship the angel. But that faithful angel wor quick to stop John. He say: “Be careful! Do not do that! I am only a fellow slave of you and of your brothers . . . Worship God!” (Rev. 19:10) That angel wor really humble! The angel wor not looking for glory. Right away, he tell John to worship only Jehovah God. At the same time, the angel not make it look like he wor better pass John. Even though the angel been serving Jehovah for long time and he wor powerful more than John, he wor humble to call the apostle his fellow slave. And even though the angel correct John, he not blast at him. But he wor kind when he wor talking with John. Maybe he get to know that the thing dem John see, really surprise him.

6. How we can be humble like the angel dem?

⁶ How we can be humble like the angel dem? We too can work for Jehovah without boasting about it, or trying to make people to praise us. (1 Cor. 4:7) Also, we must not feel that we better pass other people because we na stay long in the truth, or because we enjoying certain privilege. In fact, the more work we get to do for Jehovah, that the more we must look at other people to be important pass us. (Luke 9:48) Like the angel dem, we want serve other people. We not want make other people to think that we important pass them.

7. How we can show that we humble when we correcting somebody?

⁷ We must be humble when we correcting or advising somebody. Maybe it can be our Christian brother, sister or our child. Sometime, we will need to be straight when we giving counsel. Just how the angel wor kind when he wor correcting John, we too must be kind. But at the same time, we can be straight without making the person feel bad. If we not feel that we better pass other people, it will help us to show love and respect when we giving counsel from the Bible.—Col. 4:6.

THE ANGEL DEM LOVE PEOPLE

⁸ The angel dem can’t think that human being not important. They love people. The angel dem can be happy when somebody who commit sin repent. And they can also be happy when somebody change their way and take the truth. (Read Luke 15:10.) The angel dem can also help with the preaching work. (Rev. 14:6) Even though theirself can’t preach to people, but they can direct publishers to go to somebody who want learn about Jehovah. But we can’t be too sure that the angel dem can direct us to particular person. Jehovah can also use other ways like his holy spirit, to help people learn about him or to direct his people. (Acts 16:​6, 7) But still, Jehovah can use the angel dem to help us when we preaching. So anytime we preaching the good news, we must be convince that the angel dem will be there to help us.—See the box “Jehovah Answer Their Prayers.”b

9. How we can follow the angel dem example to show love to people?

⁹ How we can follow the angel dem example to show love to people? When we hear announcement that somebody reinstated, we must be happy like the angel dem. We must do our best to welcome the person back and show that we still love them. (Luke 15:​4-7; 2 Cor. 2:​6-8) We can also follow the angel dem example to do our best in the preaching work. (Eccl. 11:6) Just how the angels can help us when we preaching the good news, that the same way we must look for ways to help our brother and sister dem in their ministry. For example, you think you can make plans to work with somebody who just start preaching? You think you can help brothers or sisters who sick or old to be able to preach too?

10. Wetin we learn from Sara experience?

¹⁰ Suppose our condition can’t allow us to do more for Jehovah? We can still look for ways to work with the angel dem in the preaching work. Let look at the experience of Sara,c one sister in India. After she pioneer for 20 years, Sara get sick and she wor not able to move around. She wor really feeling sad. But the help Sara get from her brother and sister dem and her Bible reading, make her to be happy again. But she needed to look for new ways to preach. Because she wor not even able to sit down to write letters, she only use to do telephone witnessing. So she use to call her return visits, and they tell her about other people who wanted to study the Bible. What wor the result? After some months, Sara wor having 70 Bible studies. And she wor not even able to conduct all of them. So she turn some of them over to other people in the congregation. Plenty of her Bible students attending the meetings now. The angel dem can really be happy to work with brothers and sisters like Sara, who can do their best in the preaching work!

THE ANGEL DEM CAN BEAR PROBLEMS

11. How the faithful angel dem na endure?

¹¹ The faithful angel dem set good examples when it come to bearing problems. They been bearing the injustice and wickedness in the world for plenty years now. They wor there when Satan and plenty other angels who use to serve Jehovah with them, go against Jehovah. (Gen. 3:1; 6:​1, 2; Jude 6) The Bible talk about one faithful angel who fight one powerful demon. (Dan. 10:13) Also, from the time God made human being, the angel dem na see only small group of people trying their best to worship Jehovah. Even though the faithful angels na see all this thing dem, but they still happy serving Jehovah with zeal. They know that God will end all injustice the right time.

12. Wetin can help us to bear problems?

¹² How we can bear problems like the angel dem? Like the angels, we can see injustice. But like them, we convince that God will end all wickedness the right time. So, like the faithful angel dem, we will “not give up in doing what is fine.” (Gal. 6:9) And God promise that he will help us to bear problems. (1 Cor. 10:13) We can pray to Jehovah for his holy spirit to help us to be patient and happy. (Gal. 5:22; Col. 1:11) Suppose people go against you? Trust in Jehovah with your whole heart, and don’t be scary. Jehovah will always help you and give you strength.—Heb. 13:6.

THE ANGEL DEM CAN HELP TO KEEP THE CONGREGATION CLEAN

13. What special work the angel dem doing in this last days? (Matthew 13:​47-49)

¹³ In this last days, Jehovah na give the angel dem special work to do. (Read Matthew 13:​47-49.) The preaching work making plenty people all over the world to show interest in the good news. Some of this people trying their best to be true Christians, but some of them not even get time. The angel dem get the work to separate the wicked people from among the good people. This one mean that Jehovah na give them the work to keep the congregation clean. It not mean that anybody who leave the truth for any reason can’t come back again. Also, it not mean that we will not get problem in the congregation. But, we can be sure that the angel dem working hard to keep our congregations clean.

14-15. How we can follow the angel dem example to keep the congregation clean? (Also see the picture dem.)

¹⁴ How we can follow the angel dem example to help keep the congregation clean? By doing our part to keep our congregation morally and spiritually clean. So, we must fight hard to protect our heart by choosing good friends and stay away from anything that will spoil our friendship with Jehovah. (Ps. 101:3) We can also help our brother and sister dem to remain faithful to Jehovah. For example, wetin we must do if we know that our brother or sister na commit serious sin? Because we love the person, we must encourage them to go tell the elders. If the person not do it, we our self must go tell the elder dem about it. We want our brother or sister who spoil their friendship with Jehovah to get help quick!—Jas. 5:​14, 15.

¹⁵ But sad to say, when some people commit serious sins, they can move them from the congregation. When they move somebody from the congregation, we must “stop keeping company” with them.d (1 Cor. 5:​9-13) This one can help to keep the congregation clean. Also, when we not associate with them, we really showing them love. Because when we obey Jehovah and stop associating with them, maybe it will help them to come back to Jehovah. If they come back, we will be happy. Jehovah and his angel dem will be happy too.—Luke 15:7.

16. What some ways you want fight hard to follow the angel dem example?

¹⁶ That real honor for Jehovah to allow us to learn about the angel dem and work with them! Let all of us follow their good example. They humble, they love people, they can bear problems, and they can help to keep the congregation clean. If we follow the faithful angel dem example, we too will be part of Jehovah family forever and ever.
