1 Kungani Kumele Sithandaze?

UKUTHANDAZA. Abantu abanengi balesifiso sokwazi okunengi ngokuthandaza. Ezihlokweni ezilandelayo sizahlola okutshiwo liBhayibhili ngemibuzo engu-7 ejayele ukubuzwa ngabantu mayelana lokuthandaza. Esizaxoxa ngakho kuzakunceda ubone ukuthi yindaba kumele uthandaze lokuthi ungenzani ukuze uthuthukise imithandazo yakho.

ABANTU abanengi bayathandaza kungelani lokuthi balawaphi amasiko kumbe ukuthi bangena yiphi isonto. Bayathandaza bebodwa kumbe bebanengi. Bayathandaza emasontweni, emathempelini, emasinagogeni lakwezinye indawo abakhonzela kuzo. Abanye basebenzisa amarozari, abanye baphindaphinda imithandazo ebhalwe phansi ikanti abanye benza izinto ezitshiyeneyo nxa bethandaza.

Kulokuhambelana phakathi kwenyamazana labantu. Ngokwesibonelo, abantu bayazalwa, bayaphefumula, bayadla njalo banathe lamanzi besebephetha ngokufa. Into efananayo iyenzakala lasezinyamazaneni. (UmTshumayeli 3:19) Lanxa kunjalo, kuzo zonke izinto eziphilayo, ngabantu kuphela abenelisa ukuthandaza. Yindaba?

IBhayibhili litshengisa ukuthi sadalwa silesifiso sokuthandaza. (UmTshumayeli 3:11) Abantu abanengi bathi ukuthandaza yindlela yokukhuluma lalowo abambona engcwele futhi ophila kuze kube phakade. UJesu Khristu wathi: “Bayathokoza abakunanzelelayo ukuthi kumele bakhokhelwe nguNkulunkulu.”—UMathewu 5:3.

Okwenza abantu abanengi bazinike isikhathi sokuthandaza lesokwenza izinto ezitshiyeneyo eziphathelane lokukhonza yikuthi balesifiso sokukhokhelwa nguNkulunkulu. Abanye bazitshela ukuthi abadingi kuncediswa ukuze bakhokhelwe nguNkulunkulu ikanti abanye bacabanga ukuthi kulabantu abathile abangaya kubo ukuze babancedise. Kodwa ubona angani abantu bangenelisa yini ukukunceda ngendlela efaneleyo? Khumbula ukuthi abantu balesono, baphila isikhathi esifitshane njalo abenelisi ukubona konke okuzakwenzakala ngesikhathi esizayo. Umuntu ofaneleyo ukusincedisa ngolenhlakanipho emangalisayo, olamandla amakhulu futhi ophila kuze kube nini lanini. Kodwa kuyini okwenza sithandaze?

Cabanga ngemibuzo le: Uyafisa yini ukuthola izimpendulo zemibuzo abantu abakhanya bengelalwazi ngayo? Uyake ufune ukududuzwa yini ngenxa yobuhlungu obukhulu oyabe ubuzwa? Uyake ufise yini ukuncediswa ukuthi wenze isinqumo esiqakathekileyo empilweni yakho? Uyake ufise yini ukuthethelelwa icala olenzileyo elikwenza udliwe yisazela?

IBhayibhili lithi lokhu ngokunye okwenza sithandaze. Elisitshela khona ngokuthandaza kuqondile njalo lilemithandazo yamadoda labesifazana abanengi ababethembekile. Abantu laba babethandaza becela ukuthi uNkulunkulu abaduduze, abakhokhele, abathethelele izono zabo njalo abanye babefuna ukwazi izimpendulo zemibuzo ababelayo.—IHubo 23:3; 71:21; UDanyeli 9:4, 5, 19; UHabhakhukhi 1:3.

Imithandazo yamadoda labesifazana laba yayitshiyene sibili kodwa kulokunye eyayihambelana ngakho. Kuyini? Babekwazi ukuthi kumele bathandaze kubani. Lokhu yikho okwakusenza imithandazo yabo iphendulwe. Kodwa okudanisayo yikuthi abantu abanengi lamuhla abazwisisi ukuthi kumele bathandaze kubani.
