How You Can Help When Bad Thing Happen

This time, plenty bad-bad thing them can just be happening. And when one bad thing happen, the brother them can try hard to really organize the relief work so that things can go on the right way. That the reason why the Governing Body say that they must set up Disaster Relief Department in every branch office.

When the brother them in that department hear that something bad na happen somewhere, right away they can contact the elder them in that area to find out what help the publishers will need. If the situation so bad that the publisher them in that area not able to handle, the branch office will assign qualify brothers to look after the relief work there. Sometime the brothers can ask for people to help with certain things or for people to come volunteer. Or they can buy some thing them and share it on the brothers that got affected.

It can be alright when we do things like this. Why? Because it can help us to avoid problems, spoiling money and wasting materials. And it can even make us to not waste time doing the same things over and over. That what can happen when people do their own thing.

The brother them the branch office can appoint can decide how much money they will use and how many volunteers they will need for the relief work. They can also try hard to know the big-big government people in that area who will help them to do the relief work quick-quick. So, nobody must collect money, send relief supplies, or go to the place the bad thing happen unless they tell them to do it.

But we can still want help when bad thing happen. (Heb 13:16) Why? That because we love our brother them! So wetin we can do? One important thing we can do, that to pray for the people who bad thing na happen to, and pray for those who helping with the relief work. We can also put money in the congregation box for the worldwide work. The Governing Body can direct the branch offices to know where they really need to use the contribution. And if we want our self to be there to help, then we must fill in the form Local Design/Construction Volunteer Application (DC-50).
