First, Saul Was Humble and Modest

Saul was modest and he was drawing back from being king (1Sa 9:21; 10:20-22; w20.08-E 10 ¶11)

Saul was not quick to act when other people talk bad things about him (1Sa 10:27; 11:12, 13; w14-E 3/15 9 ¶8)

Saul follow the direction of Jehovah holy spirit (1Sa 11:5-7; w95-E 12/15 10 ¶1)

When we humble, it will help us to look at any privilege we get and what we able to do, to be gifts from Jehovah. (Ro 12:3, 16; 1Co 4:7) Also, it will help us to continue depending on Jehovah for direction.
