LESSON 62
The Kingdom Da look Like Big Tree
One night, Nebuchadnezzar have some kindna scary dream. He call his wise men dem to tell him what the dream mean. But nobody wor able to explain his dream. Finally, the king explain the dream to Daniel.
Nebuchadnezzar tell Daniel say: ‘In my dream, I see one tree. It grow tall until it reach all the way to the sky. People wor able to see it from anywhere on the earth. The leaves wor fine-fine and it wor having plenty fruits. Animal dem use to rest under the tree, and bird dem use to make their nests in the tree. Then one angel come down from heaven. He say: “Cut the tree down, and cut all the branches. But leave the stump with the roots in the ground, and put iron and copper ring around it. The tree heart will change from human being heart to animal heart, and seven times will pass over it. Everybody will know da God da Ruler and he can give the kingdom to anybody he want give it to.”
Jehovah show the meaning of the dream to Daniel. When Daniel understand the meaning of the dream, he wor scare. He say: ‘O king, I wish this dream wor about your enemies, but it about you. The big tree da wor cut down, da you. You will lose your kingdom, and you will eat grass in the bush just like animal. But because the angel say they mon leave the tree stump and the root in the ground, you will be king again.’
After one year, Nebuchadnezzar wor walking around in his palace upstair and enjoying the way Babylon wor looking fine. Then he say: ‘Look at this wonderful city da I na build. See how I powerful!’ While he wor still talking, one voice from heaven say: ‘Nebuchadnezzar! They na take your kingdom from you.’
Right there, Nebuchadnezzar get crazy and he start acting like animal. He wor force to leave his palace and go live with the animal dem in the bush. Nebuchadnezzar hair grow long just like eagle feathers, and his nails grow long just like bird nails.
After seven years, Nebuchadnezzar get well again and Jehovah made him king for Babylon. Then Nebuchadnezzar say: ‘Praise Jehovah, the King in heavens. Now I know da Jehovah Ruling. He can humble proud people and he can give kingdom to anybody he want give it to.’
