Who Is God?

1. Why we must worship God?

That God made everything. Nobody made him, and he will never die. (Psalm 90:2) All the good news in the Bible coming from God. (1 Timothy 1:11) So, we must worship only God because that him gave us life.​—Read Revelation 4:11.

2. How we can know God?

Nobody now see God before because he spirit. (John 1:18; 4:24) But we can know God when we see all the thing them he made. For example, the different-different food, and the fine-fine flower them he made show that he like us, and he get plenty sense. The way the whole world big show that he get power pass everybody.​—Read Romans 1:20.

We can also learn plenty thing about God when we read the Bible. For example, the Bible can tell us the thing them he like and the thing them he not like. It also tell us how he can treat people, and what thing he can do when people do good thing or bad thing.​—Read Psalm 103:7-10.

3. What God name?

Jesus say: “Our father in the heaven, let your name be holy.” (Matthew 6:9) People can call God different-different way, but he get only one name. His name “Jehovah” or some people can say “Yahweh.”​—Read Psalm 83:18.

People now take God name from some of the Bible and put Lord or God there. But the time they wrote the Bible, they put God name inside about 7,000 times. The time Jesus was on earth, he taught people God name.​—Read John 17:26.

4. You think God care for us?

The way suffering plenty on this earth, you think God care for us? When we suffering, some people can say God testing us. But that not true.​—Read James 1:13.

God show that we important by giving us freedom. Let be happy that God can’t force us to serve him. (Joshua 24:15) But plenty people choose to do bad-bad thing, so it make suffering plenty today. Jehovah can really feel bad when he see people not doing the right thing.​—Read Genesis 6:5, 6.

Jehovah care for us. He want us to enjoy our life, that why he will soon finish suffering and destroy the people them that making us suffer. When we reach to Lesson 8, we will learn why God not stop suffering yet.​—Read 2 Peter 2:9; 3:7, 13.

5. What thing we must do to draw near God?

Jehovah say when we pray to him, then we will get close to him. He like all of us. (Psalm 65:2; 145:18) When we try our best to serve him, even when we make mistake, he can understand and will forgive us. So it show that we can draw near God.​—Read Psalm 103:​12-14; James 4:8.

We must like Jehovah pass anybody, because that him gave us life. (Mark 12:30) When we show Jehovah that we like him, by learning plenty thing about him, and doing the thing them he say, we will draw near him.​—Read 1 Timothy 2:4; 1 John 5:3.
