Be Brave and Loyal Like Benaiah
Benaiah wor brave soldier in the army who fight for King David and later on fight for King Solomon. Benaiah pa wor priest. And the Priests and Levites not use to fight war or use weapons. But Benaiah fight war for Jehovah and he wor really brave. For example, one time he jump in one deep hole and kill one lion. He even fight one big giant. David really use to trust Benaiah and he make him the big man for his bodyguard dem.—2 Sam. 23:20-23.
The time Absalom and Adonijah move from behind David, Benaiah wor loyal to him. (2 Sam. 8:18; 15:18; 1 Ki. 1:8) And when David wor old, Benaiah still remain loyal to him by helping Solomon to be king. (1 Ki. 1:32-40) Yes, Benaiah stick to Jehovah and the people dem Jehovah choose to be king even when other people wor not loyal to them.
We too need to be brave to fight our strong enemy, Satan, and the people dem da behind him. And we mon try our best to continue to live our life the way Jehovah want us to live. (Eph. 6:11; 1 Pet. 5:8, 9) Even if some people stop serving Jehovah, we still want be loyal to him, because we know da he will bless us.—2 Sam. 22:26.
