Prepare Your Heart

When we study the Bible, we want the thing dem we learn to touch our heart. Ezra set fine example for us. He “prepare his heart before he study Jehovah Law.” (Ezra 7:10) How we can prepare our heart?

Pray. Always pray before you study. Ask Jehovah to help you understand and apply the thing dem you learn.—Ps. 119:​18, 34.

Be humble. God can hide the truth from people who proud and feel like they know plenty. (Luke 10:21) Also, don’t study because you want show to other people that you know plenty. Be humble and change your thinking when it not in line with God thinking.

Try to listen to Kingdom song. Music can affect the way we feel. So listening to one of our Kingdom song before you study, will help you to prepare your heart.
