LIVING LIKE CHRISTIANS

‘Using the Law to Defend’ the Good News

Wetin the Israelite them do when the people who were against them were trying to stop them from building the temple again? They use the law to defend their right to build the temple. (Ezr 5:11-16) That the same thing Christians can do today to defend the good news. (Php 1:7) To be able to do this one, they form one department to the world headquarters in 1936 they call Legal Department. Today, that this department responsible to defend the preaching work around the world. How this department been helping with the Kingdom work and how it been benefiting God people?

WATCH THE VIDEO VISITING THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT TO WORLD HEADQUARTERS, AND ANSWER THIS QUESTION THEM:

  • What problem Jehovah Witnesses na face with some government?

  • What some court cases we na win? Give one example

  • Wetin each of us can do when it come to ‘using the law to defend’ the good news?

  • Where we can find information on our website about what our brother them going through in court or with the government, and how many Jehovah Witnesses they na put in jail for their faith?

When you in field service and the government people say you breaking the law, don’t try to solve the problem on your own and say, that my right. Just do what they tell you to do. If that police man telling you to stop preaching, then ask him for his badge number and the police station he working to. But you must do it with respect. Contact the elder them right away. Then the elders will contact the branch office for help.
