STUDY 7

Talk the Truth and Convince People

Cited scripture

Luke 1:3

WETIN YOU MUST DO: Use correct proof that people can trust to help them believe what you teaching.

HOW TO DO IT:

  • Look for information that people will trust and use it. What you say must come from the Bible. If possible read from it. If you want say something that science talk about, something from the news, experience or other proof to back what you saying, check when you preparing to make sure the information correct and up-to-date.

  • Use the Bible and other information the right way. Apply the scripture in line with the verses around it, the general message in the Bible, and the publications from the “faithful and discreet slave.” (Matt. 24:45) If you say something from the news or from other books, make sure to not change the meaning.

    Practical tip

When you explaining any information, don’t add your own thing there. When the information say “some people” don’t say “most of the people” or when it say “sometime” don’t say “always” or when it say “maybe it happen” don’t say “it na happen.”

  • Use proof to help the people believe. After reading the scripture, or giving point from your research material, ask question, or use example that will help the people get the point clear.

FOR FIELD SERVICE

When you preparing for field service, think about question them that you think people will ask. Then do research to see how you can answer them. If somebody ask question and you not know the answer, tell them that you will do research and come back.
