Daniel in the Lion Hole

Another king for Babylon wor Darius the Mede. Darius notice da Daniel wor special. So he made Daniel big man over the most important men dem in the country. They wor jealous of Daniel and they wanted to kill him. They knew da Daniel can pray to Jehovah three times every day, so they tell Darius say: ‘O king, we suppose to get one law for everybody to pray only to you. Anybody who not obey the law, you mon throw them in the hole da get the lion dem inside.’ Darius agree with the idea and sign the law.

As soon Daniel hear about the new law, he go straight to his house. He open his window, kneel down and start praying to Jehovah. The jealous men dem push his door and enter the house and see him praying. They run to Darius and say: ‘Daniel not obeying you. He can pray to his God three times every day.’ Darius like Daniel and he never wanted him to die. So the whole day, he wor thinking about how he will save Daniel. But even the king wor not able to change the law da he finish signing. So he give order for them to throw Daniel in the hole da the lion dem wor in.

Da night, Darius wor not able to sleep because he wor just worrying about Daniel. So in the morning, he run to the hole and call Daniel. Then he say: ‘Your God wor able to save you?’

Darius hear somebody voice. Da wor Daniel! So he call Darius and say: ‘Jehovah angel close the lion dem mouth. They not do nothing to me.’ Darius wor really happy! So he give order for them to take Daniel from in the hole. Daniel wor not having any mark on his skin. Then the king say: ‘Yor throw the men dem in the hole who lie on Daniel.’ When they throw the men dem in the hole, the lions eat them.

Darius give his people order and tell them say: ‘Everybody mon obey Daniel God. He save Daniel from the lions.’

You can pray to Jehovah every day, just like Daniel?
