Jehovah Angel Protect Hezekiah

The Assyrian na take over the ten-tribe kingdom of Israel. The Assyrian king, Sennacherib, want take over the two-tribe kingdom of Judah. He start taking the cities of Judah one by one. But the main city he wanted wor Jerusalem. But Sennacherib not know da Jehovah wor protecting Jerusalem.

Hezekiah, who wor the king for Judah, paid Sennacherib plenty money for him to not take Jerusalem. Even though Sennacherib take the money, he still send his powerful army to attack Jerusalem. The people in Jerusalem wor scare because the Assyrians wor getting more close to them. Then Hezekiah tell the people say: ‘Yor mon not be scare. The Assyrians strong, but Jehovah will make us strong even more than them.’

Sennacherib send his messenger, the Rabshakeh, to Jerusalem to play fun out of the people. He stand outside the city and start shouting: ‘Jehovah not able to save yor. Yor mon not let Hezekiah to fool yor. No god able to protect yor from us.’

Hezekiah ask Jehovah to know what he mon do. Then Jehovah tell him say: ‘Don’t allow the thing the Rabshakeh say to made you scare. Sennacherib will not take Jerusalem.’ Next, Hezekiah get some letters from Sennacherib. The letters say: ‘Just give up. Jehovah can’t save you.’ So Hezekiah pray to Jehovah: ‘Jehovah, Please save us, so da everybody will know da you the only true God.’ Jehovah tell him say: ‘The king for Assyria will not come in Jerusalem. I will protect my city.’

Sennacherib wor too sure da Jerusalem city will soon be for him. But one night, Jehovah send one angel to the place the soldier dem wor camping outside the city. The angel kill 185,000 soldiers! King Sennacherib strong-strong soldier dem die. He not win the war. So he wor force to go back home. Jehovah protect Hezekiah and Jerusalem, just how he promise. If you wor in Jerusalem, you wor coming trust Jehovah?
