Moses Choose to Worship Jehovah

When Jacob wor in Egypt, they know his family to be Israelites. After Jacob and Joseph die, another Pharaoh started ruling. Pharaoh wor scare da the Israelite dem wor getting more powerful than the Egyptians. So he made the Israelite dem to be slaves. He force them to beat blocks and to work really hard on the farm. But the more the Egyptians wor making the Israelite dem to work hard, da the more they wor getting plenty. And Pharaoh wor not happy with it. So he say they mon kill all the Israelites boy children dem they just born. Just think about how the Israelite dem wor scare?

One Israelite woman they call Jochebed born one fine boy child. To protect her son, she put him in the basket and hide him in the bush side the Nile River. The baby sister, Miriam, hide herself in the bush to see what will happen.

When Pharaoh daughter went to the river to take bath, she see the basket. When she open it, she see the baby inside the basket crying and she feel sorry for him. Then Miriam say: ‘I mon go look for somebody who will take care of the baby for you?’ When Pharaoh daughter say yes, Miriam bring her ma Jochebed. Then Pharaoh daughter tell Jochebed say: ‘Take this baby and take care of him for me, I will pay you.’

When the child get big, Jochebed carry him back to Pharaoh daughter. Then Pharaoh daughter name him Moses, and take care of him like her own son. Moses grow up to be prince and he wor able to get anything he want. But he never forget about Jehovah. Moses knew da he wor not Egyptian, but he wor Israelite. And he choose to serve Jehovah.

When Moses wor 40 years old, he decide to help his people. When he see one Egyptian beating the Israelite who wor slave, Moses knock the Egyptian hard and he die. Then Moses hide the body in the sand. When Pharaoh get to know, he try to kill Moses. But Moses run away to the place they call Midian. And Jehovah take care of him when he wor there.
