JUNE 15-21
JEREMIAH 7-8
Song 152 and Prayer | Opening Comments (1 min.)
1. They Treated Jehovah’s Temple With Contempt
(10 min.)
Many Judeans imagined that the temple itself would protect them despite their wicked behavior (Jer 7:4, 8-10; jr 21 ¶12)
Their conduct dishonored Jehovah’s name (Jer 7:11; it “Jehovah” ¶78)
Jehovah used Shiloh’s example to illustrate what would happen to the temple (Jer 7:12-14; it “Shiloh” No. 2 ¶4)
ASK YOURSELF, ‘Does my conduct reflect well on Jehovah at all times?’
